First Grow bubbleicious Auto questions

Just received my med card and next week i will be starting my first indoor grow.
I have 10 bubblicious Auto-flowering seeds.

I will be using 1 600w HPS light throughout the whole process but i will only be doing 5 seeds at a time. I planned on just starting them in a 2 gallon bucket and leaving them in there throughout the whole process..I have a nice size room with mylar all over the walls and a couple fans. The one thing im not too sure about is what kinda nutes to use (if any) and what kind of soil would be good. I have read around that auto plants are very sensitive when it comes to nutes.

Also, would it be better to go the first 14 days with a MH light? or just stick with the hps? i want the buds to be as stanky as possible so any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I have a NL autoflower and i use

Foxfarm Ocean Forest soil
and for nutes i use
Foxfarm Grow Big
Foxfarm Big Bloom
Foxfarm Tiger Bloom

the soil and the nutes go hand in hand, bought the nutes in a 3-pack that came with a feeding chart and it has worked out perfect so far:bigjoint:

Auto strains flower quickly so there's a good chance that you won't even get to use the veg nutes much if at all. For that reason you may not want to spring for the FF Grow Big and could consider something much cheaper, but still good, like Jack's Classic. Of course if your not caught up on cost the FF Trio is a good way to go, the Big Bloom is a must used in every plant, in all stages, for every grow. Get quality soil because that will be what feeds your plant in the approximate 3 weeks you'll spend in veg. IMO Ocean Forrest is the best, tried others but none matched up. Water when the surface is dry, initially every 3-5 days working up to maybe every other day, your plants will tell you.

If you haven't planted them yet you may SERIOUSLY want to consider returning them unless you want to raise a bunch of Photoperiod plants that may be radically different than the traits described when you purchased them. Nirvana supposedly pulled all of the auto seeds a couple weeks ago after numerous complaints that their autos weren't autoflowering, and were growing MUCH larger than the auto strains were supposed to. People reported things like their plants still hadn't flowered after a couple months and were perhaps a few feet tall already when the max height at harvest was supposed to be half of that. Personally I'd return them and get an auto strain that isn't from Nirvana unless you really don't care what you're growing. Easy Ryders are great, as are the Red and White Dwarfs. These are all good yielders with good THC and they're easy to grow.
