Do I have enough light? Too much??

My plants are getting burn marks on the edges and heat in my box stays in the 80Fs... but according to what i've read ideally i should have ten times as much light!???

i have 3.82 sft with 68W approx 4420Lumens
(4 22" lights17wEach)

The FAQ states I need near 8500 per square foot which would be 32470Lumens and like 20 plus lights...
:(?

any other advice helpful

first off your lights should be 1-3 inches above your plants. you need to put a pc fan in the top of your box to exast heat. you will need to add some cfls you don't have enought light. how offen do you water & how much water do you use? your plants look under watered
a good rule of thumb is stick your finger in the soil about 2 inches down if the soil is dry water till you get run off from the drain holes in the bottom if the soil is still moist check in 1-2 days. then water as needed.

i water every 3-4 days... and I have added additional lights and a fan. THe temp still seems to go to a high of 81-83F... and the new growth is very funky. take a look and please let me if you think things are progressing well? Im concerned about the slow growth of most while one looks pretty healthy. but very light green????

check you PH.6.o to6.5 with seeds and clones seem to work the best for my. lights seem fine for now but your going to need more light as the plants grow a bit more..a fan will be good. low the temp to about 70to 75 they love it.:weed:

how can i lower the temp??? I think it is the min house that is affecting the temp most.. the air going in is 77F and coming out is 80f (with the a/c on.....) I do have two exzhaust fans 65cfm each.

anything else that can be done to reduce temp? p.s. it is 90F outside....

i would honestly start over, ur only a few days in, and move those grow lights up for a few days (seedlings are sensitive to close lights and will burn), think you might actually have them a bit close, had the same experience, if you cant start over the plant will recover. and what kind of cfls are those, they look red, u need some cool white 5000K for veg (the stage ur at) that could be the whole issue there. hope this rambling helps you..... good luck
