First Grow - Arjan Haze #3 [GL40 Tent][260Watts CFL]

Hey guys,

This is my first grow ever and I am growing one big plant.

10/18/2011 - Planted Seed (using 2x23w 6500k + 2x23w 2700k to veg till 6-12")



I soaked my seed for like 36 hours but it didnt crack so I just put it directly in the soil so I don't know if it'll work but how long should I wait for it to sprout?

Update: Still not cracked. Apparently this strain takes about 1 1/2 week to sprout (based on other peoples grows) im so impatient its been almost a week

I planted the seed in the middle but some random seedling popped up in the corner of the pot (12") so I have no idea whats happening. Should I let that seedling live for a couple of days till it shows if its marijuana or kill it and try finding if the seed sprouted in the middle?

Its not the pot seed for sure.. You can kill it.. Everything looks great. Green seeds

I'm going to wait till it shows it second set of leaves. You never know maybe some voodoo magic happened and moved my seed to the corner

life sucks I lost 4 seeds cause they wouldn't germinate($40 down the drain). Now I am only my last seed and it cracked but I dont see a tap root yet hopefully by the afternoon ill see a taproot and ill plant it in the soil

I planted the seed right after i saw the tap root and I think it should be out by tomorrow. If its not out by friday I'm ordering seeds not from Green House Seed Co.....

To pass the time(i got no weed and its freezing to go outside to buy some lol):

Maybe ill save one and fill it up with some kush when im done this grow

About your germination process. Next time you get seeds try the paper towel method. It works great. I never liked letting my seeds sit in water like that.

Just take some paper towels fold them up and sandwich seeds in the middle. Get the paper towel wet(NOT dripping wet) and put it in a plastic bag. 36-72 hours you'll have sprouts.

Give it a shot. You will have way better results. Hope that one seed makes it.

yeah it with my last seed I did that and it sprouted in 18 hours but apparently i put it the wrong side so I took the seed out of the dirt and replaced it. Thank god that it didnt have a huge taproot. Hopefully in 1-7 days it'll sprout. I never knew it would be this difficult. Damn canadian 0 degree weather.

Is that an Odor Sok? Hows that been working out for you? I ask because I'm thinking about buying one for a gl40 also
