First Grow and Baffled

Hey everyone. I germinated three seeds at the same time. (bagseed) Planted them each in separate 2 qt. pots (approx two weeks ago) with the same potting soil at the same time, under the same lights and all watered at the same time, as needed. One plant/seedling is growing fine, showing two additional sets of leaves besides the embryonic leaves, but two are still in the embryonic leaf stage and as far as I can tell have stopped developing. Any suggestions as to why? It obviously can't be the growing conditions because the one is developing normally. Are the other two just "developmentally challenged"?

As long as they are green there's hope. You really can't see even tiny, tiny true leaves in there? Some seedlings have a really hard time, who knows why; old, bad genetics, a hairline crack, something you said in a careless moment, and so on.

If it's your first grow, it's good to plant a lot of seeds; everybody kills a few:?

sounds like bad genes to me. I had a few do that when sprouting my current grow. They usually die.

First time here too. Same thing happened. I stuck it out and the retard plant is actually doing better now with new growth by the end of the 2nd week.

My problem was nute burn stunted the development of the first true leaves. But now the plant that did good from the start is running into that, while the other is pulling ahead with a nice green shade.

Dude, did you say that your problem is nute burn at the end of your second week??? lol your god damn right it is, I was understood you dont give the plants nutes till there either a foot or so tall, or at least 3 to four weeks into growth....but what do i know.

Yeah, yeah, I know. The potting soil was 1, .5, .75 or something like that.

Only potting soil I found locally. I figured it was such a small amount. They are doing real well now with new growth
