First grow. All help appreciated

This is my first grow. Seeds are from Attitude. 3 are Seedsman White widow and 1 is Dinafem Moby Dick, all feminized.
I am using a 600w hps 18/6. GH flora series nutes.
I am buying RO water from a salt water aquarium shop thats right down the street. It is coming in at 150 ppm. Does that sound right? I have been PHing it to 5.8,
Temps are staying between 79-82.5 during the day and staying around 75 at night. Humidty is ranging between 55-65%.
I am using a DWC set up with clay pellets, 5 gallon buckets, and 6 inch net pots. I plan on adding another one of the air pumps you see here within the next week. Oh, and I know that duct tape doesnt block light, but the gorilla tape I have over it, does.
Any and all feedback or help is appreciated.

Here's the individual girls. Burned by using nutes too early, but they are looking better back on straight water.

Does this look like nute burn or is my light too close? or something else.

Looks like nute burn to me. How far do you have your light away?

I now have it at 30 inches, but it was at 25 until today.

Pic #1 Looks like it's dead.
Pic #2 Looks like it may have new growth out of center.

It's not light burn judging from temps.

Your room looks pretty cool. Sounds like you just need to tighten a few things up.

No need for fertilizer's just quite yet. I see you are using GH, me too.
You could use 2.5/2.5/2.5 for the first week or so, but only if you flushed the container's after your first? feeding. You may have residual buildup already.

R/O should come out at close to 000 ppm if you are purchasing it. My tap water is only 42-44 but, I still use r/o for a couple dif. reasons. Do you have PPM Meter? Did you know that if you are growing w/ R/O you lose more than just the ppm's and chlorine. You must add magnesium to the water. Calcium I would'nt worry about when growing cannabis. I also use R/O and would'nt have it any other way. As a result I use Epsom salt (2tsp. per gal) to overcome mag. def. I don't care about the cal and I won't pay for Cal/Mag products.

Temps, humidity and PH are good dude.

Recommendations:
#1 - Flush pots w/ 3x pot size of r/o
#2 - Feed w/ 2.5/2.5/2.5 of GH-first week
#3 - Buy r/o filter from Ebay ($100-$150)
#4 - Use flouro's to start seedlings if possible

Thanks for the info Diesel. I am flushing the pots now and am going to go get some epson salt. I'm gonna talk to the owner of the fish store and find out whats up with their Ro waters ppm, I do have a meter. Its gonna be a week or two before I can get that filter, but I will get it. Gonna lay off the nutes for a few days, but will follow your dosage when I start them again. Do you think I should switch back to the flouro's and turn the hps back off? Ive had the hps going for 3 days. +rep

Yes, I would switch back to floro's and get them nice and healthy. That will help w/ any heat issue's as well.

Your TDS might be off a little I use RO water and salt to adjust My TDS tester RO Should have nothing in it...my tap water is 100ppm...

Okay, "day" just started in my tent. I switched back to flouro's giving each of the four one 23w cfl about an inch away. Im going out now to explore some new water options as I dont trust my RO source anymore. Thanks for the help guys +rep

I am still here. Thank for checking in. Unfortunately I found out what my problem was...The guy at the aquarium shop gave me salt water one day. I went there for two weeks getting nothing but RO water, then out of nowhere he does salt water.
Anyway, I lost my crop, except for one, which is struggling but has new growth in the center that I am hopeful for. I'm gonna keep it going, but I am grabbing 4 Bleu cheese clones in a few days either way. Heres the one little girl hanging on for dear life.

Oh, and I bought my own RO filter. I will never trust anyone again. not to mention it is so much more convenient. Best $150 I ever spent.
