Part 2:
This journey starts with 2 NYC diesel seeds of which one died and one survived.
This seed would grow to DEFY ALL ODDS ! :dunce:
At first it grew beautifully in a closet under a 400W HPS with low temps 10-15 C /:
One day I came to find the HPS light had fallen (!!!) only to stop it's free fall by the plant itself setting FIRE to it HAHA  LOL
:clap:WELL DONE ME! right? :wall::cuss:
For me, that was the end of it.. the plant looked terrible, smelt burnt, it was a disgrace.
An angle told me to let it be, so I did, I packed the whole setup and left a CFL next to it (there were maybe one leaf that had 25% not been burnt) (+ I did not have access to buying new seeds)
The plant didn't die so when we had to move we took it with us, so... into a moving box it went for a couple of nights (~72 hours) waiting in a shipping yard with the rest of the stuff in 0-15 C day night.
When we took it out the stems were sweating sticky. I thought again that was the end of it but, again, that angel told me to set it free, so I left it outside in the yard, efficiently throwing it into a 12/12 routine.

New growth started soon enough after that and it was cloning time! I cloned (5) and set up a tent for them. I COULDN'T believe that this plant recovered so well and was going to be a MOTHER!
At the time a stranger who wanted to get rid of his seeds gave me a bag so I germinated 3 of them too (they were unknown strain so I didn't worry about them..)

And oh how they grew, beautiful, almighty GROWTH (*achem* *cough* a bit too over excited there).
When they were about 6 weeks I started flowering.
From the unknown seeds one was slow and got cut, one was a hermie(!!! luckily it didn't pollinate), caught on time and one was a female, all grew main cola buds, nothing major or special. Getting worried I chopped them early and got rid of them, they weren't worth the trouble.

Around this time I noticed the mother outside had recovered from the clone cuttings and had a spurt of growth combined with flowering(!)
I reunited her with her children. They flowered well.

Part 3
At 10th week of flowering I came to check the tent after a 5 day absence with a 45X microscope I had just bought, I checked the MOTHER first as she had flowered first and was clearly ahead of the rest. THE FIRST FRICKING THING I SEE CLOSEUP IS A FU***** SPIDER MITE :wall::wall::wall: , the whole plant was covered.
I thought I was freaking out, I took it out of the tent and decided it was never going back in. (the mites came from that period the plant was outdoors)

SOOO at this stage I have a plant 10 weeks into flowering, pretty damn close to ready, NOT FLUSHED and full of mites.
WTF do I do right? I decided to flush in an aggressive direct manner :-D
I dug the plant out carefully, shook off all soil and placed the roots directly into a big vase of tap water which I changed three-four times a day, placed the whole thing in the dark for 3-4 days. I thought this must be the best way to force flush regarding the situation.

I harvested this BEAUTY to put it out of it's misery at last. hanging it upside down, all of the mites migrated to the top and that was the end of them. Pics of what's left of that to follow.:peace:

Two fully grown clones left and are now a week after the per-harvest flush at week 10+ flowering. Their buds are forming new growth shoots which I think is good :bigjoint: .
Strangely new bursting bud growth occurred after thorough flushing in both. (NO nutes)
Pics of them later on too

*** PERSPECTIVE FOR OTHER NEWBS (like me) ***
If my plant went through ALL THAT and ended up a delicious smoke then don't give up too quickly! Gather all your faith and patience and let your plant pull through no matter how bad you've screwed up! (add two nutrient lockout to that story, one in veg and one in flowering! :!:)
