Its a 250
I would surmise that lighting and lack of plant training is your main issue. The 250W HIDs are just not very efficient, when compared to their bigger brethren - but the bigger ones are just too much heat (and light) for that small an area. Consider going with COB LEDs instead. You can build a 6 COB, 400W LED (true watts) fixture similar to mine for around 140 bucks - I can even give you a parts list. Here are what my girls look like at 6 weeksView attachment 3890319 View attachment 3890320 - 24d x 39w x 60h space dimensions:
Its a 250w HPS not HID. I got the lamp online, there's a ballast in it, couldnt tell you if it is mechanical or electrical. Ugh i didnt know there was an option -_- i have that inline fan going 24/7 and i have another fan in there on the floor in those pictures. I can tell that the buds on the WW are getting bigger (slowly) because theyre starting to fall over. Ive done a ton of research on the trichromes and what they should look like when theyre ready, I'll be patient. I also looked at the SCROG and SOG methods when i first started but i felt like none of it made sense on how exactly to do it.. sooo if you guys could dumb it down for me that would be amazing, I'd love to try it next time. Also these arent in 5 gal pots, and im sure that plays a part. I left them in a smaller pot for too long and didnt have enough time to transplant again before i switched over. But I learned from that and that'll be better next time as well. This is also my first time on one of these forums and I'm very grateful for you guys helping me out!

keep the 250 I love those lil energy savers.. Just use a 600watt days 28 of bloom until harvest next time will surely give you a better yield than this time alone
.. Cheers to a great first grow.. She's still alive and looking good for 250watt!
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but 600watt would be a lotttt of heat wouldnt it? I had a hard time keeping the temp under 80*F, granted it was 86* outside at the time.. but with temps outside being cooler since its the off season here in Cali, I've been able to keep it steady at 75*F during the day and around 65*F give or take a couple at night. Im asking because I dont know lol, enlighten me

hps and mh are both hid lamps. your light is too high for a 250w lamp. take some string or something and tie down some of those tops until you can get everything more level. then bring that light down until it is about 15 inches away from the highest leaves.

Greetings, I put 600's about 10 inches off the canopy. That light is too high off the top, IMO.

#NextTime
Get cup hooks and trellis net and stretch the net across fill box 100% for size. Use 3-5g hempy bucket, hydro size and speed with ease of soil style watering.

SCRoG is really just about spreading the plant out, forcing the branches over horizontal, until it fills your space completely from side to side, and front to back. LST and scrog are two techniques that go hand in hand, as they are very complementary. LST is simply pulling the main stem over so the lower branches can spread out and grow fast.

SOG is putting a large number plants (as many as you can cram in) and flowering them while they are still relatively small.

To properly do a scrog, you place a screen or net, usually made with PVC and string, that has 2x3, or 3x3 openings in it, over the plant, about 6 inches above the pot its in. As the plants branches come up through the net, you pull them over and tie them down, or tuck them back under. This gives more light to the lower nodes and lets them branch out more. You just keep spreading them out like that until its fully covering the net, then you start flowering.

Ha gotcha, didnt know thatt. My bad. I cant move the light down as it sits on the top of my box, but would moving them up like on a shelf help anything at this point? I can do that

Thank you thank youuu! Definitely doing that scrog next time, sounds exciting :)

Here you can see what my scrog screen looks like:

And here it is lowered in place and they are starting to come through it:

and ten days later:

another 7 days later:
http://imgur.com/erCylBz - Basically up to this point, mostly what I was doing was pushing branches back through the net and then moving them outward.

and then flip day:

Thank you! This is still a learning process for me, i wasnt really expecting much from this. I just wanted to know what somebody thought about my setup and things i could improve to make the best out of it! Unfortunately i cant make it any bigger or change the size at all, but is there anything else i could do to improve for next time? Anything helps :)
Replace your 250 with 250-300 watts of cobs.

How far do you keep you cob from tops of flowers Johnny? I just ordered a 1000watt (280watt actual) kit. thanks bro
That doesn't make sense. There is no 300 watt "kit" on the market equivalent to a 1000. Most cob manufacturers don't even market their lights like that - calling it a different wattage than it actually is.

I'll need more info on your light to give you advice on spacing.

If you still have time, you may want to cancel that order.

I was going to add in the middle of my 8x4ft t5 mix spectrum table and 600 watt hps I have in an 8 x 8 x 4 tent to cover the middle where I'm missing.

If it's not too late to cancel the order, I would do it immediately. That's not a true cob light - it's chinese junk. Currently, you only want cobs from Cree, Citizen, or Bridgelux. Not that chinese garbage. Why they even refer to that thing is beyond me - aside from suckering those who don't know any better.

If you can still cancel your order, I can recommend something a lot better for a few dollars more.
