I have 4 plants of the same age and 4 more 2.5 to3 weeks younger. I set up the growing room out of an old meat locker. I have one oscillating fan in conjuntion with one 100mm bathroom extractor fan keeping a 78degree avg. For lightingI'm using a 400watt hps on 20/4, its a soil grow with seeds from a baggie. I germinated and built growing room as I saw the little seedling and really wanted to smoke it. Now I have read countless threads and am learning all the time. I have added some nutes to the 4 older plants not much and I had to flush one plant, I was afraid to add nute at the end of the flush as I was scared of the over fert and now she is a little yellow, left foreground.
Ph of soil is around 6.7 and l can't really think of much else, oh ya I have two 2litre sugar/yeast/water fermentation going for carbon dioxide and I read on the chair so they can eat my air.
The light is usually much lower 12-16inches from canopy, I raised it for to take non-obsquered photos. Everything I did was as dirt cheap as I could do it. 8euro extractor fan which I connected to 6 foot wire and plug(2.50euro), second hand ballast, carbon scrubber made with pipe, activated carbon and some cotton wool, as well as finding the cheapest possible extension lead etc etc, the plants are looking better than I could ever imagined(I hope the budding will blow my mind as much ifnot more :))
I'm interested in what you think so please throw down yourthoughts, queires suggestions tips hints, whatever you got.

I was researching it but I'm not too sure how advantagous it would be, I was thinking of tying the apical buds over 1 week before flowering(9thmay)(heard one week beforeflowering is a good time to top) This would allow the smaller plants, which I will have raised to appropriate height for optimal light exposure, time to catch up. Also I'm expecting two of the four to be male so a betterspread would be good as wel as the height issue, only have 6.5 foot to the ceiling so plants will need be no taller than 4-4.5 foot. Do you advise cutting of the apical meristems hormones earlier or later? also should I tie over or just top them and should I continue a second round of topping on the lower stems and how long after the first until i do this. Any advise you have will be taken under council, I want my babies to flourish and bring in a nice yield
