This is my first time growing I purchased 3 clones from the dispensaries 2 afghooey and one grape ape. They didn't look the best when I got them but I was in a hurry to start. I've had them for a week and a half now, and they are starting to look way healthier. I'm using a 200w cfl 6500k with a reflector, along with 2 42w CFL 2700k. Average Tempature is 80 degrees. In a indoor closet Any suggestions you have to improve my grow let me know I am open to advice. I used happy farm soil something like that. Ph has been between 6-6.5. The Grape ape is looking like the weakling at the moment

I can almost smell your plants thru the computer screen. curious... did your happy farm soil come with nutes in it? I used Miricle Grow and I wish I hadnt, now Im afraid to fertilize cus I might posion my plant....

Ya happy farm soil comes with nutrients, the soil was suppose to feed them for a few weeks. but never ever use miracle grow that is one thing I learned early on

Your plants look healthy. Grape Ape is a great strain!

You should get the light closer, this is an important detail when it comes to CFLs.

i cant really tell depth in pics, but the cfl lights in my opinion should be so close that you have to adjust them every 8-12 hours. Even if you burn the plant as I have a little bit, now and then, it will be ok. Also, you should surround each plant with bulbs not just one bulb up top. That large bulb is nice but I usually just buy more of the little cheap ones because I can surround the plant. GL!

I have a friend who has a 90w UFO REd spectrum LED, I was thinking about throwing that in the closet along with the CFL's for Flowering at the end of the month? Any thoughts? Should I switch out the 6500k CFL for a 2700k? or would the Red spectrum LEd and Blue spectrum CFL workout good?

LED are still quite expensive i would stick to cfl till little more development on LED lights.

a mixed spectrum is good for the plants. i would definitely suggest using the led, it barely creats heat so u can get it close to the plants. i would also leave the 6500K .
and if u got a friend whose willing to lend it to u, why wouldnt u use it? lol
