Long time lurker; have posted a few times, nothing real serious. Been farming since I was 18 when my father introduced me to his plant. From there I have always been interested, just for the sake of growing anything. I am an Electronic Music Producer; former chef and programmer, so I am a tech nerd at heart.
First ever grow was soil, curiosity got the best of me and I switched to hydro. I took a hiatus for a bit because of wife kids and all that life stuff we oh so adore.
Well now I decided I wanted to do it again, plus its great fun in my opinion. This time of course I took another step up, I decided I wanted to do Aeroponics, and use LEDs. (I had started using them in my Reef tanks, so I knew some of the good brands performed very well, as they made my corals look outstanding)
My setup is nothing real special, but I sure as heck wasnt going to spend thousands on these "Aero" systems that are not much more than DWC systems it seems.
I built a 4x8x8 Cab, Mylar lined, 600 CFM Passive Exhaust system. Everything is made from Rubbermaid Roughneck Totes. Each Grow Chamber is a 56 Gallon, the Reservoirs are Daisychained 8 Gal Totes So 16 gallons total. California Light Works 800W Solarstorms (I have a friend buying them soon, as I intend to change my lighting over to Illumitec).
Ill be growing two different styles to see which I like... Left side will simply be 4 Plants LST'd. The right side, Good ol SOG. Have two plants of each strain vegging just for cloning purposes. Strains are from Nirvanashop, Aurora Indica and Snow White all feminized.
Below is a picture of the room and just two shots of the new seedlings heh. The girl on the left is my test dummy to dial in Feed Cycles, Chamber Temps, LSTing all that jazz before I start on the good stuff. Shes about 4 weeks into Flower right now. (Maybe 3 1/2, baby was born right as I was witching over to 12/12 so I am not really sure when I did it honestly haha)
Hopefully I can figure out this Journal thing and start that up.

I have no idea whats wrong in the third picture.. She has the best root growth but is clearly slightly retarded lol
