Are you using ocean forest or the soil that's in the garden?

Make sure you take a few photos when you put the ladies in the ground! I'm more excited about growing/ following grow threads then I've ever been! I have a feeling this is going to be a fantastic year.

well from what people have told me, and what my grandma is telling me, is that im going to use the same soil that they are in right now and just use the dirt in the ground as well... so basically im going to use FFOF on the top layer and just dirt under that layer

So this being my first grow outdoors(also indoor-see sig) what am i expecting?.. I mean, as in how tall they might get? pests and disease? which will be harder my indoor?or my outdoor? ... Im in SoCal, San Diego, to be exact. The temp and humidity have been consistantly in the 75-80 range, and humidity is around 16-20% .... The temp is definatly going to increase in the oncoming months for summer, so sounds like pretty ideal weather to me!

You live in almost the best place in California to grow weed.

I live in the best.(Central Valley).

What to expect?

Look at the pic in my signature.

I suggest you mix your FF soil into the top 8 inches of soil. Do you know what mulch is?

A heavy layer of mulch will moderate soil temperatures, help retain moisture and provide a home for bacteria and worms that make nutrients available to the plant's roots.

Always keep mulch at least six inches away from the main stalk of each plant.

Most strains available today can top ten feet, with TLC.

I suggest you read up on Low Stress Training(LST).

This is a method used in Screen of Green(ScrOG) systems as well as to minimize height in stealth situations.

Mushroom compost is the SHIT!

LOL

Nearly all my garden beds were started and have been amended with worm compost as at least 1/3 of the mix.

Go easy with horse manure. Too much will burn the plants.

Best way I know to use horse manure is to spread it in the garden area, and turn it under. By Spring, worms will have broken it down into usable nutrients.

(LOL! Yeah, I know. Too much information.)
