hey everyone thanks for taking a look at my little buddy haha. ii have two they both look pretty much the same.. tell me what you think. they have been in soil for 8 days and germinated for 2 so about 10 days old. how is their size compared to others? also this is a very low cost operation. in a blue tub in my closet each plant has a low powere cfl about 3 inches above. i water about every 3 days. this one im using a little cardboard to hold it up cuz it falls down sideways if i dont use it. however the other stans straight up and is the same size. do you think its just because the stem is weak? let me know what you guys think. and if i keep growing them this way do you think they will survive

Looks like mine. Although some people say it should be bigger for 8 days, but I dunno if they mean BY SEED or from "veg phase" I dont really know when veg stage starts so hope someone tells you.

Whys it at an angle? It should point itself to your light.

looks pretty good... just wanna make sure you poked a few holes in the bottom of your cup so the water can drain away ;) Definately get yourself a fan to put on them

how big is your tub???? how many CFL's are you using???

i only have 2 CFL's 1 for each light, my tub is about 2 feet tall and a fott and a half wide. the temp is about 78 F so i think thats pretty good. i can try to stick a small fan in there. how much longer til i transplant and how big and how many holes should i poke

you should poke enough holes to let the water drain I'd say like a dozen.... As to transplanting it.... I'd get the fan first so the plant has some time to strengthen it's stock.... When you trans plant it to a bigger pot you won't see a lot of growth til the roots take hold.... Search around the site here.... there is a process to transplanting your little ladies so you don't stress them out as much.... Also it looks like your light is to the side of your plant... try to get it directly above the plant... so all leaves get exposure.....

I think I was reading on here yesterday about a DIY lighting unit using a power bar, some single light adapters and some dual light adapters.... I'll see if I can find it and post it here for ya. *cheap and easy and it works from what the guy said*

26 watt 6500k cfls? They shud glow white! The 6500 is the color temp, some bulbes will tell yu, yu want i think to find a tleast the ones that have 1500 or so lumens! One bulb i got syas 5500k. i vegginf my clones now like yu but in mini hydros. Make sure those llights are 1 to 2 inches away from the plants. More than that and they will stretch. A fan will rock! ZGood luCK!

I can't find the tread for the lights.... but it was a power bar and they have these light fixtures that have one socket that plugs right into the wall... the guy ended up using a light splitter *from one socket to two* so on a 6 port power bar you get 12 lights in a row...... I'm using an HPS but I thought if I was looking for a cheap easy way to do it.... that way would probably work.
