Cut 1 one my NL yesterday, might get 2 and a half zips. will be able to some some tomorrow night. The u-verse box is an excellent place to lay a fat bud or 2 on for a couple of days to smoke...:bigjoint:

The cable box is awesome for drying quickly for a sample smoke, I have been doing that off and on. But hopefully I shouldn't have to worry about running out of smoke anytime soon.

If you smoke like I do, what you just cut would last me a week, maybe...
Yea I don't smoke to much, mostly in the morning and at night for pain and sleep, so this should last until I set up another grow. I usually can have a gram last almost a week mainly depending on pain and what all I have going on.

So the final tally on the dry weight is roughly 3 and a half zips. I gave some to a buddy and smoked some and still have a half of what I'm using now. I really can't complain with this grow at all. So all in all I think I had close to 4 zips. I have quite a bit of trim that is in the freezer now for the butter here soon.
Thank you everyone

I had a few auto plants on my last grow LH, HK, AK and I was waiting my then to go amber but never happened 104 days. I read somewhere in RIU that not all autos go amber so careful w the timing cuss I got a lot of worthless seeds.
I just popped my last blueberry seed and I am not topping her just lst. I know that topping autos can add a couple weeks to the finish time. I read the same about some autos not turning Amber. I'm thinking that by just doing lst the blueberry will finish in about 70 days or so.

Some strains in general wont go amber. strong indicas wont go to much amber. sativas on the other hand usually have a larger harvest period and will go amber more than an indica would. Photos do it aswell

NL seems like a very dependable auto strain for sure.

Whats a guy do when its an almost even mix of clear, cloudy, and amber? Its happened a few times to me before... I harvested based on the curling in of the hairs. Usually turns out good bud but I wonder if its an error.

Ok thanks for that bit of info. I think that I'm going to let them go maybe a little longer this grow and see how it turns out.

It isn't really an "error" When the hairs start to turn color and curl and receed it is basically used up it's "life" at attempting to collect pollen to bring down into the calyx for it's attempt at making seeds, When hairs do that it usually means production is coming to an end, BUT NOT ALWAYS THE CASE, some strains will spit new hairs out even when it is ready. as far as a mix between the 3, how old is the plant? indica dom or sativa dom? I personally would aim for no more than 20% clear. Those clears should turn cloudy a bit more. Not all strains will completely yellow their leaves either.

Northern lights is a very stable strain. i got one going from 00 seeds right now and have grown out vision seeds NL and sensi seeds NL. very impressed with the 00 pheno right now though. going on 4 ft just going into flower. She should be a good one. bottom branches are really impressing me. I will get a picture later for you.
