So I had a top that was looking burnt and messed up for about a week.. only 1.. i touched it and some of the top broke off so i cut the thing off and opened it up and boom BUD ROT

now ive read a lot of articles on it but i have some questions about what to do when you see this in an isolated spot. the rest of the plant looks fine and all the other plants look okay also.. I just dont want to cut down and lose everything.

Ive spread my plants out a little more added more fans and run me dehumid 24/7 and have good airflow.. also ive had 2 really successful crops before this and I this one is looking just as awesome.

so anything else i should do besides watch them?

sorry about the hps lights.. this is 40 days in. also this is not the plant i was talking about. just general pictures of my grow. some plants are tipping because they grew a little too high and my stakes/lights arent that tall lol20150624_004343.jpg 20150624_004359.jpg

Looking good. Everything you did to stop the rot was good. Just keep giving them fresh air and keep your humidity down.

Other thing to note is this is my 3rd turn.. 1st turn i had 5 plants in 10 gal. 2nd i had 8 in 3-5 gal

This time i have 14 in 7 gals. So theres a lot more media and ive only been able to get humidity down to 50% now thats its summer and rain season.

Id be completely setback into last decade if this crop didnt turn out because this one is going to fund my move and my new room with more lights lol

So i got fans blowing on em like crazy. Humidity down to 50% lights on and 65% lights off. 500cfm exhaust for 10x10 room with 2 1klights. I got 2 wall fans and a stand up all on high and pointed directly at the plants now. Those humidity readings are for the room. Temps are 68 at night and max out at 75 with lights on.

Btw i had a panic attack last night lmao. Smoked some lemon skunk and made it twice as bad (weird) but anyways thanks for the replies. If anyone has any suggestions or advice please dont be shy :)

Don't let any water from watering sit on any if the buds. Keep humidity around 35-40%
Just wondering why would I have water on the buds from watering. Lol either way i wont run into that.they are over 4ft tall and lollipopped half way up so water only makes it into my smart pots.

Lol it wouldn't man but let's say u water ur plants and in the pan under ur pots there is a lot of water this will evaporate and cause lota humidity in ur grow area

Also to stop bud rot and mold I use theses there like 2 dollars ea from a cheap shop buy like 10 and add to ur grow area

hi mate ,how many lights now to your 14 plants .

lights on 50% humid is around ok wouldn't worry about that ,cannot see it getting any higher with lights on temps up your humidity is normally going to be ok anyway if you have some good air flow coming in , but lights out & temps dropping that's when your humid will start creeping up .

I turn most things of at lights out .
when im in flower i just have my dehumidifier on, in winter cold months I have a small radiator on as well .keep temps up a little better .especially especially when in flower .
in veg I don't worry about things so much

if I was you invest in a decent dehumidifier ,10ltr tank ,can run it continuous with humidity settings at your desire ,they are a bit expensive but defiantly worth the buy ,it wont just extract shit loads of unwanted humidity from your room .but will give you a little more temp at lights out ,? air flow .& also will prevent you getting mould /PM .that's some kit.
