first ebb&flow[rockwool] 12/12 today

i dont know if anyone remembers my post from a few weeks ago but my grow is going very well & today i cut the light cycle back started the 18'th of jan. put my matt down last nite plants 16''-20'' tall 7 mango 2 purplewreck g.h. nutes i'm very happy

just starting to supercrop my upper branches of my more aggressive plants it kind of gives my shorter ones a chance to catch-up & for the first time i have wall-to- wall growth 4'x3' 600w. looks like i'll have a good harvest[ somewhere around easter] this set-up seems to really be working out for me its all coming together i'm gonna start some clones today

i'm working on help to learn to post my pics as i've fabricated most of my stuff & want to show off the ''fruits of my labor '' i'm semi-illiterate when it comes to computer skills i have my kid help when i can [20 yrs. old] gonna have to learn to post pics. from fishing trips first then apply same tactics here[hopefullysoon kind of embarissing not to know how to post a pic. but im working on it

yes this is starting to get good ywa you will be looking at a really nice harvest i heard mango yeilds well so what are the gh nutes you are using if you dont mind me asking i was looking into switching to them for my future grow and i cant wait until u get the camera thing worked out and post some pics exicted to see what everything looks like the suspense is killing me keep it up though

hey kali good to hear from you i checked out your grow journal awhile back [good stuff by the way] when you responded to my earlier postings i think next grow a journal is in order & some pics of this one soon to start with . i would like an empty room so you can see my homemade set up [cut 1 end out of a 250ga' plastic tank] 3'x3' & 6'' deep robbed bait tank fitting from an old boat i salvaged salvaged a stand from another project i'm kinda like ''sanford&son'' [got-junk!!!!] made res .[20gal'] out of recycle bin-tote i guess the city didnt want it no more [nice new one] so true to form i recyled it any next grow i'll have all the bugs worked out im really pumped about this ebb&flow stuff & yes mango does yield good [sells good too] its fun to grow & i'm developing a liking to the way the purplewreck grows [should smoke good] too & i'm cloning off this stuff called headband a friend of mine has it is good & yields impressive!!!! its a lanky plant grows very similar to purplewreck i really need to settle down to one good strain [ possibly dinafem blue hash]

p.s. using gh. flora series grow,micro&bloom with diamond nectar as an additive i'm happy with the results & theyre not expensive to buy will soon be adding kool-bloom [liquid] & pineapple rush soon

Hey nice horrible tobe honest I have never smoked mango I have only read a lil bit about it I have seen it in clubs but that was awhile ago n it was never a very good product ( hence never trying it yet ) but that headband you got is some good stuff u are right she is lanky and most buds I've seen have been a lil airy but if done right she can produce some top notch smoke with a high that not many can compare too sry I have been smoking some headband for the last few months I hope u took some clones of the purple wreck I hear its a very unique smoke but I have not tried this one yet as for the gh nutes I got some sample of the flora nova floralicius n I think its flora blend n some pineapple rush I'm going to try these out in my next run n see if there is a difference in results n yea I feel u on the pics I'm the smae way I don't even have a digital camera its one on my phone

hey kali the only strike against the mango is the taste [some of my people really like it but not me] its stony as hell though & grows tight dense buds ,looking to replace it ,& headband is the choice [i hope im doing the right thing] purplewreck was cloned yesterday so it appears headband &p/w advance to next grow my friend got outstanding results on headband grow but due to the room they take up a reduction in plants actualy= higher yield purple wreck is kind of lanky too. hey kali any info you got on the headband would be greatly appreciated im hoping pineapple rush will improve the taste of my mango havent had any problems with the gh-nutes or schedule last grow i used stealth-hydro brand nutes[bubbleponic] & not to start a big controvercy over techniques or nutes i wasnt happy with my results switched to gh nutes & problem went away simple as that i have 3 friends using same tecniques & nutes so i just went with what ive seen work.& if i run out of something or have a problem hands-on-help is right handy

p.s. i also have super lemon haze seeds [greenhouse] i need to figure in somewhere in the future this quest for the ''strain'' never ends !!! my friend picked up the headband clones from a [sac.-cal.] dispensary & i got the purplewreck there too & sour diesel[did 2 grows it dont yield well] with it my friend got over 3 oz. off 1headband plant so the yield potential is there even if the buds are a little ''airy'' the overal product is very good i like dense-gooey buds too but everyone likes the headband & the purplewreck really has my attention i cant wait easter cant get here soon enough oh yeah my mango is b.c. mango [high times top-ten pick] there is also k.c. mango i hear theyre not the same

Yea that headband yeilds very nicely u should have it in ur garden yeild is good n it smokes great but seems to sell better I hear that lemon haze is amzaing I love hazes but its tough to get them n I qalmost don't want to grow them just beacuse some of the flowering time can be extensive I have a friend who grows some amazing ssh which nice to have when he has it and yeah I fell u I'm hunting for the pefect strain too I would like a nice sativa hybrid something done in about 9 to 10 weeks for the most part I would like something with a healthy yeild doesn't have to produce the most but above average n is enjoyable to smoke again n again I am think I may go with white russian (serious seeds) not sure how long she takes to flower but I just know she packs a big punch but we shall see n I didn't know that there was another mango besides the bc mango but I can't believe that sourd is a low yeilder that's a bummer I love good sourd it helps me eat that's the effect I get from disesels but yea I can't wait until easter too hopefully I am going to be finished around then I'm planning on flowering like 10 11 weeks but we shall see how things go man I'm envious ur up in sac area ur very lucky u got lots of good genetics available to u more so down here

yeah the sour-d comes out nice & im gonna do some outdoors just not enough of it but when it comes down to power,nutes & time you gotta get the most bang for your buck & sometimes you gotta make the move to other things i will say however this is the only hobby i have that actualy pays back to me not that its about money but a little stash & alittle cash is cool by me & i actualy have fun doing this

p.s. maybe a better grower could wring more out of the sour -d but 2 grows & maybe im one of those people who's always chasin greener grass!

very interesting about the sour d im glad u mention the low yeild i was probly going to grow some sour d in the future and yeai feel u its a nuice hobby that helps to give back n then people say money does not grow on trees so how ur grow going i believe you are on week two or so now soare u starting to see any pistles i just started week 5and in the next day or so probly wed i am going todo a res change and just use some purple maxx and gravity until about sunday or so like 4 days they are starting to smell fruity a lil bit when i am in the tent but outside u cant smell it thanks to my filter wich is nice

hey everyone spent the weekend at one of the local lakes returned to 3+ inches of new growth slower plants are catching up & ive pruned off the lower stuff which seems to give me a nice even canope up on top i turned back to 12/12 superbowl sunday should have bud starts soon posted ? about pineapple rush??? i think im gonna use it hey kali i took your advice & cloned enough headband to do complete grow with it also took a clone from sour -d before shipping it off seeing sighns of spring all over [nor.cen.-cal.] so im starting outside stuff too gonna scatter it out here&there [sunlight is free] there is lots of fields & riverbottoms around here [gotta do somethin when fish wont bite] i spend a lot of time on the water its been a long winter so even a remote sighn of spring is welcome i really like e&f-rockwool method as it requires little care especialy using drain to waste feeding schedule as the worry & upkeep of a recirculating reservoir is nonexistant i set it up & run airstones 4-6 hrs. then flood &drain then use leftover nutes on fruit trees & plants around yard [we have 1/2 acre] so nothing really goes to waste genhydro now has organic line called bio-thrive im looking at but im pretty happy with the flora-series & the results im getting i got a digital camera x-mas & it has disk for computer im gonna get my kid [20 yr. old] to help me to post pics. thanks for the tip xan 2 hoprfuly soon ill get this hooked up its good to see responses to my posts & i truly thank you guys& girls too h.h.

hey kali have you ever checked out dinafem blue hash it seems to fit my criteria someone recommended it my purple wreck is looking good so far & i also cloned enough of it to do complete grow as well purples & blues sell good around here

H H u lucky sob u got to go out and do some fishin man I love doing that I mostly fly fish myself I love being outdoors unfortunatly not to much of that stuff in this concret jungle I live n yea it feels like spring is here after temps in the low 50s in back in the mid 80s this week nice n dry I did a gurellia grow last yea I havested 3 of like 10 plants we planted not so bad but I'm going to give that ago this yea n I am looking into some of the auto flower strains I got a lil green house by our cabin wanna see how they will do over the summer I hope the gurella goes well for u now I have heard of blue hash never smoked it I have somked ca hash plant stuff was soplid it made me giggle too Idk if the blue hash is a hash plant cross or not but sounds good I hear some people talk of blue widow which is good or bluelights two very potent blues n yea blues n purps are good

hey kali dinafem blue hash ithink is a cal. hash plant x blueberry which is supposed to be indica dominant gonna get a fly-rod soon 7-8 wght. we got bass & stripers too the blues & purps are in demand & the price stays up even when we get flooded with outdoor stuff blues & purps hold a steady price my stuff is doing good got my eye on the purplewreck no real pistils yet but all the little signs are starting i should see somethin real soon
