doinit2gether: i think that was grizzly talking to me. now i'm thinking of waiting a few more days until the smaller girl gets some more leaves, but does this one have 2 full sets of leaves plus baby leaves (or is it close)?

Those are big enough to put on 18/6. It will probably accelerate your growth; mine always grow the most when the lights are off. I agree with Bonzi, i would wait until they are a little taller to transplant.

Leave them alone. When they are 6" transplant into fianl pot. when 12" go 12/12.

Don't be in a hurry to re pot.

This plant is 2 1/2 months old and still in a 5" pot:

I believe the advice you gave was right on, but the pics u show as proof....? How tall is it? It looks about a foot or so, but it's hard to tell.

The middie that I have going into flowering in the next day or two was rootbound 2 weeks ago in an 8" pot. ROOTBOUND IS BAD!! When I put her in a larger pot, she grew about 3 inches in just over two days. Bills plants dont need to be done yet, but I would suggest that you transplant and you would get a pretty good growth spurt. Of course thats just IMO

they are right around 4 inches tall, but probably has something to do with all the transplanting lowering the initial root level. i went on vacation for a few days, like 3 and they needed water when i came back, but it looks like they didn't slow down in progress any. here are ssome pics:

so i transplanted 3 plants outside for natural light and switched the other 2 indoors to 17/7. indoors are about 10 inches tall so in another 3-4 days i'm going to put them on 12/12. i have a question tho.. i noticed one plant has 7 leaves and the others have 5.. does this mean its a male? or why does it have 7?

nevermind got the answer... nothing to do with sex =]

anyways... 4 nodes down to top? right? how many should be below? and how old abouts? if u need pics i'll upload.

U cut between the second and third nodes...if you want more top colas. If they r already pretty tall u shouldn't go that way, u should just cut as close to the top as you can to cause it to bush out.
