First clone experience - soil - How are they doing?

Just beginning day 5 with these 4 clones...it's my first ever attempt at cloning and after clipping them they went into filtered water, dipped them in Biobizz root juice, and placed into half filled solo cups with moistened FFLW soil. Temps are mid to high 70's with RH averaging 80 in a dome. I've been spraying the leaves twice daily and taking the dome off to air them out but my clones just look kinda sad.

I didnt score the stems or have any cloning gel but figured it was worth a shot after searching around the forums and seeing some clone with just water or go straight into soil like my attempt.

Curious to know how my clones are looking since I don't know what to look for or if there's anything I can do to further promote rooting?

Fill those cups to the top. Short of funds right now?

Always haha...wasn't sure exactly how much soil to use and came across an old post here talking about only filling solo cups halfway when cloning into soil.

I'll add some more soil but do I need to be careful about watering the clones from the top to get the soil moist? I'm attempting to follow the cloning tutorial on growweedeasy and the advice there is that top watering can slow down the rooting process.

I also realize its a waiting game until day 7-10...

I dont always fill em to the top, no reason to imo. I always clone in soil and get damn near 100% results. I use ziplock bags on top of each cup and turn the bags inside out every couple days. Soon as theres roots out the bottom of the cups remove the bags. After 2 weeks or so after removing the bags I transplant em or add soil to the bottom of the cups depending on how much time I'm trying to burn.
