First CFL "Stealth" Grow

Now for the long awaited moment, pictures!

the lights and camera settings make the plants look a lot more yellow than they really are. Underneath normal lights, the plants actually look dark green.

the big plant smells so fruity and delish and the small plant is a dank and earthy mixture.

i expect harvest to be maybe 2-3 more week?

i planted on 11-1-10, vegged for 4 weeks, flowered from late november to now so thats almost 7 weeks flowering. not sure about the strain's typical flower length so its a mystery.

also, when i checked my soil today, i saw tiny rice-like bugs moving around in the bigger plant. maybe about 6-7 on the top but there could have been more that i didnt see. any suggestions to get rid of these?

Lookin' good!

do you have any odor control issues? since its a stealth grow.

and as for your little pests are they in the soil or on your plant? if they're in the soil hopping around its gnats? or something i forget what they are called but you put a thin layer of sand on top of your soil
and that solves that.

but they could be something else i would look into different types of marijuana pests to try and match your symptoms so you can get rid of them quickly.

there's no strong odor to hide, the walls of the stealth box are pretty thick so the smell doesnt push through. and i got rid of some fungus gnats about a month back and these look totally different. im thinking about just letting the soil dry out a little bit and ten watering with a dish soap mixture

just planted 3 more seeds!

not sure on strain but they are pretty big seeds and they sprouted in about a 2 days.

not really trying to grow big, friend just gave me some seeds, and i thought its be fun to grow them.

put them in some plastic peanut butter jars. gonna let these grow under 12/12 lights to keep them small.

Nice work Weekend, bet your looking forward to smoking your own grow.
thanks! i just harvested the bigger plant and hung them up. cant wait for them to dry and cure.

another update, maybe another week for the smaller plant til harvest!

germed 3 seeds, 1 survived, 2 didnt make it. bittersweet maybe.

will post pics this weekend

Harvested the smaller plant. the harvest was disappointing but it this whole grow was a good learning experience.

i germed another seed, this plant is now under 4 5500k 26watt CFL's. im starting this off right!

maybe plan on vegging for 5-6 weeks and then flower so i can get a nicer harvest

will update with pictures.

Are you gonna dry weigh your bud? And from the looks at the pics your grow wasn't all that bad. Respect man.

looks like things went fairly.

but tbh looks like you wussed out on the LST a little man. they really dont mind being bent over :P
something like this.

what this does, is allows for a controlled, even canopy.
Which is very helpful using cfls, because with cfls you can , and very well should, keep the bulbs within inches from the foliage

But anyway, good luck with your new seedlings. enjoy

im starting a new plant now that im going to making really good, im thinking topping and LST.

Update: Sorry about the lack of photos. plan on putting them up later on this weekend when you can see more growth.
