Your plant seems to be stretching for light. Id say hang the light as close as u can get without touching or burning them. Other than that looks alright for a first CFL grow..:leaf:

The light def needs to be closer to the plants it seems as if the plant is a little stretched, also seemed a little droopy. How often do you water? Might just be a lack of light..........

i water about 3 to 4 times a day depending on the moistness of the soil and i have 2 23W CFL on 18/6

That might be a little to much water, I'm no expert, and I won't claim that by any means but I think you might want to slow down on that, I water every other day unless it's been really hot, I grow in a closet so the temp is pretty well controled as it is in a a/c room. Depending on the temp your grow is in you may want to slow down with the water.....

Keep up the good work!!!

water when the top 2" of soil is dry.(push your finger into the soil) then water only until runoff drips, not pours out of container. with cfls, you want them as close as possible to plant, like 1-2" away. they wont burn the plant as long as their not touching. put your hand the same distance from lights as plants are. if you can comfortably keep it there, then the plants can be comfortable too. also, you could get 2 y splitter electrical fittings and get 4 lights in your canopy as opposed to 2. otherwise, keep up the good work :)

hey thanks alot ijustgrowGREEN yea i been doing the water test on it but it has been real hot where i'm at that the reason why and usually the pot dries up by the time i got check up on it and yea i been thinking about adding more lights

growtosmoke i'm doing it in this empty room and it does get pretty hot in there if it weren't for the ventilation but even the window is reall small for the room

Word, looks good! congrats!
No expert here but.
Id say still have a little bit of stretching. Literally want them CFLs as CLOSE as you can. If you burn the leaves no biggie, just back them off. And remember, that beauty is going to get about 3x her size in flowering. Also if you dont already, have a fan blowing over her to thicken up that stem.

hello fellow stoners!!!

i wanted to kno if any of ya out there can possibly tell me wats going on with my plant.

the bottom leaves started dying out &
the very last leaves just turned brown.

i thought it could have been a nitrogen deficiency or maybe lack of light at the bottom of the stem if anyone can help clrify this for me i'd really appreciate it!
