just add a tiny bit of ph down then test it... it doesnt have to be perfect. and flush the soil one good time with the ph water. after that you should be lookin good!

Your Ph should be around 5.6-6.5. To flush you need to put your plant in the bath tub and flush with 3x as much water as your pot size. Ex. 1gal pot flush with 3 gal of water. Let the water run through your pot and down the drain. Som people like to flush in two stages. flush with half the water let its sit for 15 min and then flush with the rest.

5.6-6.5 i thought it was at 6.8 and that is like a whole point seems like a big difference. Its a 8" pot so how much water do you think?

ok i did the PH and the flush. i did around a little over a gallon per plant all in 8" pots. my PH tester goes no lower than 6.8 but it was lighter than the 6.8 (the lower the lighter the color) so i know it was under 6.8 just not how much lower. anyway here is a little pic of the flush. tell me where to go from here.

hey good journal, I have had some ph problems myself in the past, it is probably the cause of the yellowing, since you have flushed your plants, just put them back on your regular watering schedule, and make sure to properly ph the water from now on lookin good so far keep it up, by the way check out my grow, since you are near a walmart go to the sporting goods section and get one of those emergencey blankets line the inside of your box with it, you wont really need the reflector then

yeah i am really hoping that the PH sorts this yellowing. it is really bad. i will check out that journal just got to run to work now.

also i forgot to say it i think but i untied the stunted retarded one. looks a little better seems i had some leaves tied in there. i'll try to update photos in a few days. i work all weekend.

Shit man Im sorry I never seen the pics of the plants. But it looks like you have a Nitrogen Def. Are they growing really slow and yellowing from the bottem?? You need to fertilize them!!!! Your starving them of food right now. Go get some nutes and start feeding the 1/2 strength grow nutes. them build up!! wait till they dry out first though

people told me i didn't need nutes with the superthrive. but whatever. i'll look in to getting some nutes i am just so broke there isn't even food in the house i'm sure someone understands. right now all i have are some miracle grow like plant food sticks....i doubt that would work.

"Shit man Im sorry I never seen the pics of the plants." haha why not look back and see the pics there were plenty but i do thank you for your help. always nice when you don't know what you are doing.....

DAY 33

ok so i went in and i pulled off the dead AND crunchy leaves. here are pics of each plant you can see the one that i had the leaves tied up is recovering but still looking a little grim. there was a lot of yellow and a good bit of dead mater. i assume now that like (mat i think) said that they need food. i am broke just waiting to get some nutes. and the smallest one here i don't know that i have posted till now but it is just an experiment to see the difference in development because it is in a much smaller pot. but overall they look quited stunted in growth but look OK i guess.

love comments!

man i was just looking at them and thinking about how slow they are growing. but i am so broke i am just starting to get a little discouraged. what do you guys think. should i keep going? you think these plants will recover? i just hate waisting my time is all.

ok so i found $5 and i went and picked up some miracle grow all purpose plant food. 24-8-16 and i fed them 1/2 strength(couldn't do 1/4) i hope this wasn't too much but i know there wasn't much nutes in that soil to begin with. they also got some superthrive. this is the first watering since the flush. i am not feeling quite so disappointed now that i have nutes to give them.

how well do you guys think these plants will recover. they still looks mostly like they did in the last pics. also i think some may be forming preflowers is this possible? i am going to give it a few more days and try to get you guys some new pics. i would love some comments i really considered giving this up the past few days but now i have food to feed and really no reason to give up.

please post with your thoughts.

DAY 41

ok i took the time to take new pictures of all the plants including the one in the small pot. they are looking much better since the food.

i would love to hear some comments i have been talking to myself for a while now. how are they looking?

i must say that i am very excited to see the one starting to curve around the pot. i think this grow is gonna be awesome as long as i can keep them healthy and growing fast.
