First CFL/ Cabinet grow

Ok, I was curious about CFL's and grow Cabinets. I have a Cabinet shop so i built a Cab 24"w x 42"t x 24"d inside dimensions. Took a random seed put in paper towel, it rooted in 24hrs and i planted. Here are a couple pics of the cab and the plant 1 week from planting seed.

Soil: Miracle grow potting mix w/Bat guano,perlite and espoma garden lime added
Nutes: Canna- Terra Vega, Terra Flora, and PK 13/14 when old enough
Lites: 2-26watt 5850K cfl's and 1-26watt 2700K bulb for now. (will add more later)
Fans: 6" fan bringing in fresh air (bottom outside) 1- 12volt PC fan inside for now

Let me know what u think, and any suggestions are well appreciated. (new to this)

seems to be doing well so far, but for optimal vegetative state growth change the lights to 6500k.

That's an awesome grow brother I wish you the best! enjoy the grow and keep smiling! This was what I had in mind only it grew to 1000 watts with A.C. and CO2 and...now it's not quite as much fun...but....oh well! Post pic's as you go!

nice set up! if i were you pop another seed or 2. my first was a male and i didnt plant seeds until a month after he was vegged. so now im left with baby plants but alot more at the same size

Day 14. i hope she looks ok, i was thinking she should be bigger. I've already given her a watering with molasses and 1 reduced dosage with Canna- Terra Vega nute program.

Day 21. Here are a couple pics of day 21. trying to decide if i should go to 12/12 on day 28 or if the first 7 dont count for vegging cause they didnt get some good leaves till about a week in. any comments on that??

Mines 3 1/2 weeks and not even close to that...very nice.

Day 35 since breaking ground and now 5 days into 12/12 light cycle. cant wait to find out male or female. Never had a plant get so bushy. my wife wants to put it outside in the garden........LOL I have not given this plant as much attention as my others and so far it is perfect. Maybe cabinet growing is the way to go.....

ok, sorry no updates but had some troubles. i believe i got root bound. was only in a 5 Qt bucket and had to transplant 4 weeks into flowering. i think she's coming back but it took a while. here she is 6 weeks into flowering...

5 quarts is pretty small. Looks like you upgraded to at least a 3.5 gallon pot now, looks much better. Also that clear bucket you had it in would let in light to the roots which is bad. Will be watching to see your grow through to completion, good luck!

you can order on amazon a 12v power supply for around 5 bucks instead of using that big ass battery

Last update. 7 weeks into flowering and some Mother F**ker stole my plant. went into office for 20 minutes to eat lunch and someone must have come into the shop opened cabinet and ripped her off. Makes me so mad!! i feel like an idiot. i was the only one that new she existed. she was 7 weeks into flower, hairs had'nt pulled into buds yet. i hope shes no good for them to smoke. (who ever took her) cut her off at base with pocket knife or something.....................

It's because you used molasses with Miracle Grow. It causes the soil to lock up. You're luck your plants didn't die.

how'd you hang your hanging light fixture and was it adjustable? thanks for the info
