First canna coco grow with canna nutes

As for the light, you could probably get ready to bring it in. Take it nice and slow and let her get used to it. No need to put it right on top of her, right away.

Which bulb are you planning to use? ballast? light schedule?

and thanks for droppin in bud, my bulbs a 600w HPS sunmaster dual spectrum with a 600w ballast with a air cooled reflector, an im rollin 18/6 at min then goin to switch to 12/12 when shes ready

Hey PUKKA! That there is a very healthy looking plant! I'm excited to see what you can do with a 600W HPS in such a small space. I agree with RP -- bring it in now. What's your plan for this one? Will you be doing any HST/LST? If that plant's genetics turn out to be solid I think you could do justice with a mini-SoG of clones or a single flowering clone ScrOG.

EDIT: Also, check out CMH bulbs. I think (don't quote me on this, definitely do some research) your 600W HPS ballast should be able to ignite one, presuming you get one with a compatible socket type. They're great for both veg and flower (they run approx. 2800-4000K depending on the bulb), and supposedly they produce the highest quality bud of any HID lamp.

thanks for droppin in bud, i was goin to top her for 4 main colas usin this method= Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to get 2 or 4 MAIN colas witch you cut the main central stalk above the 2nd node but if you can see in the pics my 1st an 2nd node are really small an underdeveloped so i decided not to on this one, im goin to let her grow natural

the info on the strain says she doesnt grow that tall for a sativa but gess ill have to wate an see!
defo check them CMH bulbs out. the sunmaster dual spectrum bulb im goin to use is for veg&flower also

She's looking great! Definitely growing nice and compact. Nothing wrong with letting her do her natural thing. Might want to think about keeping some of the lowest branches clean though. Depending how big she gets, those smaller, lower branches tend to produce more popcorn bud. You can sometimes get them to focus more on the upper, main cola more vs. spending energy on smaller bud sites. Just another option I thought I'd throw out. A bonus to trimming the undergrowth, is increased air circulation, and sometimes easier to get in there and water/feed/inspect. Lots of people call it "lollpoping". No right or wrong way man, just sharing some ideas.

So how's that Canna coco draining for you? Does it hold onto the water a long time? Just curious. I'm a fan of the company, but haven't used their coco yet.

Shes takin 1250ml of nutes every other day in the 11l pots roots are showin at the bottom already this canna coco kicks ass
shes 7 1/2" tall and 14" wide
if you look in the 1st pic shes gettin her 1st set of 9 bladed leafs

Hey guys an happy new year!



Here she is guys, growths been really fast since i brought the 600w HPS in last sunday (26/12/2010).

I switched the lights to 12/12 thursday (30/12/2010)

Im running

A&B 12ml/g
Rhiz 6ml/g

PH 5.8

She's taking 1.5l of nutes a day now shes really thirsty!

im slowly lowering the Canna Rhizotonic (root stimulant) an getting ready to add the canna CannaZym and the canna boost an when i start seeing a load of pistals im going to start addin the PK 13/14

Plant looks awesome dude just make sure your grow space has NO LIGHT coming in at all during the dark hours. I guess i had a little during my last grow because i have some very tiny white seeds in my female LSD plant but there is barley any so no biggie. I wanted to get a 600 dual spectrum so i will be following this thread. +Rep for the beautiful girl it sounds like you did your homework and your on the right track. I would say invest in something besides canna boost though becuase i havnt heard too many good comments about that stuff. I used Atami Bloombastic and i will say i noticed a big difference! Its expensive as hell but if you contact Atami through their webiste they will send you a "sample" bottle that will last the rest of your grow and you dont have to start till 4 weeks into flower.

got some funny yellowy brown patches appearin on the top leaves they first appeared a day an a half ago



checked tonight and theres no more on the top but looks like some may be comin on the middle of the plant leaves



So what do you think it could be the only thing i did was raise my A&B to 12ml/g an i lowered my Rhiz 6ml/g do you think that could be it is it burn?

or do you think it could be a deficiency? i have some cal-max its pretty much the same as cal-mag, magi-cal i think. i havent been usin it i thought id see how i went with my tap water should a add some?

it looks to me as if you droped some water on leaves and they got burnt from the light. but you never know. she looks really healthy so dont get stressed over it. its probably the plant having a shit lol. plants do that its normal, they put all the bad shit into the leaves its like a bin for them or a toilet get it, so dont worry, my plants do that to at times, how much are you feeding her?

canna boost is good if used with the hole range of canna nutes. it's good as long as your happy to spend the money, you will defenalty see the difrence much more t.h.c,hairs and bud, this is just my experience, just make sure u start using it as soon as you put her in flower,

thanks for droppin in bud, Once the doors locked on my rooms its completely seeled so no chance of light gettin in or out, Yeah i cant wate to see how she goes with the 600w dual spec to... ive herd good things about them!. As for the boost theres alot of boost bashers out there but ive also herd when used with the pk 13/14 at the right time the results are awsome so ill have to see how i go.... no more thunds left for any other boosters... think i may give something else ago on my next grow an compare results.
Can you use the boombastic with the canna boost an the PK?.... because if i could get a bottle for free like you said i mite aswell give it a go

i hope it is somethin like that buddy an nothin to series everythin was goin great

id jus gave her 2 feedings (2days) of..... 12ml/g A&B and..... 6ml/g Rhiz..... (boost 8ml/g 1 feed) .....but after noticing the patches i dropped back down to 10ml/g A&B an i lowered my Rhiz down to 4ml/g (im slowly lowerin it anyhow) ph 5.8

i checked the Ph of my run off an it was 5.9 so i thought that was pretty good

i gave her 8ml/g of boost last night didnt realy want to add anything else tho once i seen the patches

bro ill give you a little tip your girl looks fine!!
i ve used canna line for 5 years now and was nt that impressed with the pk so i started using somethin called hammerhead on a ten week strain id start using it at week 6 using 1mill to a litre of water to the rest of your canna line for a week then step it up in week 7 to 2 mill for that week then flush for two weeks using plain tap water !!
i see you test the ph i ve never done this as theres no need to be fair in canna cocco pro using the run to waste method as this is how i run my set up with 20 or more plants.you ll maybe get a little nute burn here or there when you up to amount of nutes you put in but she is only tellin you that it is nt needed so take it easy. she is looking good tho so keep up the good work and dont stress over a few leaves getting burned.
all i can say really is if your happy with the results with pk 13/14 you ll be extremely happy with hammerhead as it packs twice as much on the bud twice as fast as you would with pk13/14!!
