same here on this thing nonstop, at first i started growing cause I didn't want to have to deal with finding my smoke. Now after starting I am more in it for the enjoyment of knowing that I can make something. however stupid that sound lol the smoke at the end is just an added bonus!!

doesn't sound stupid............you've become a gardener. there's nothing more, "down-to-Earth," and human. we were ALL gardeners once, and it was a better World.

I agree 100% scrog. One of these days, I'm going thoreau and building a cabin in the woods and learning how to be self sustainable. That's my life-long dream, and definitely not impossible :)

Good Video! time for a few pics me thinks!! Also I changed my fans around today so my 250CFM fan is now my Exhuast fan at the top and my 120mm pc fan is my intake fan. I should have done this when I first got the bigger fan but, I'm lazy!! Sad dayz my babie bubble is sick sick and my noobness shines through. Listen kids over watering is very bad and it kills your babies!!!View attachment 2189682View attachment 2189683View attachment 2189684View attachment 2189685IMAG0074.jpgIMAG0076.jpgIMAG0077.jpgIMAG0078.jpg

Lol yup it does...gives them nitrogen deficiency. Are you giving nutes to the one with the yellowing leaf? I want to try bubbleponics too!

Yea, I know over watering causing N deficiency, but was just wondering if you were giving nute at all but I see you're using MG soil. What nutes are you using for your bubbleponics system? Just curious...I know nothing about hydro related stuff!

I am as new to it as I am to growing in soil Lol but, I am using General Hydroponics: micro, bloom, and grow. I just follow the size chart on the back of the bottle. It tells you how much to add/ gal. Of water. For the first week until the roots were showing from the bottom of the rock wool I only used ph'd distilled water and I plan on changing my res once a week.

Ah ok nice, I was looking at those some exact nutes! I have some spending money so thinking about starting a new grow using either a DWC bucket or bubbleponics

I like the dwc cause you can add on the backup res for when the plant it bigger.. Also I got a 100 gal bubble.. I tried the cheap small petco bubbler.... Could only handle one of my res so I went big lol

lol I was thinking about that....but I get a lot of time around my plants right now (am unemployed). Do you get a lot of time around them too and still found it bothersome to keep up with the water in your res?

So all my plants in soil just stopped growing... Kinda sad... But I might have been found out what the heck is going on... My soil pH is hella high like 7.8, iv been I've been watering with 6.5 water and I ph down with vinegar I make the water before hand and let it sit and bubble but what I didn't realize was that the ph could go back up.. So water that was 6.5 two days ago was 7.5 today sad...I also used the same water to top off my hydro res's and that ph is wacky to...

My fix is this fuck the miracle grow soil cause idk how to fix the ph in it and keep it down.. What I thought was just simple dirt turned out to be fuck me in the ass dirt.. :)So I ordered foxfarm ocean forest today.. and to always dbl check my shit even if I know it was good yesterday it could be shit today.. Any idea how to lower soil pH and what nutes should I go with for FfOf soil?

Fox Farm soil has nutes in it so you probably won't be needing any right away. I'd wait at least a week of them being in the soil and seeing how they do before using ferts. You can go Fox Farm for your ferts too, they're are pretty good. I'm currently using them. However I just ordered Neptune's Harvest Fish & Seaweed fertilizer, which I think is an even better option, because it's not likely to burn your plants and has incredible nutrients in there. I've been using their organic fish hydrolysate sampler and seriously feel it's one of the reasons my plants look so good. And...it's cheaper than Fox Farm!

That link is by the quart, but you can order it by the ounce, pint, and gallon as well. I've spent a fair amount of my grow funds preparing for a dwc grow, but next time I set up a grow in my box, I'll probably just make my own soil with some organic soil without nutes, then mix it with bat & seabird guano, seaweed fertilizer, dolomite and a couple other things...then all you have to do for the entire grow is just water. No burning, no worrying about Ph, no deficiencies...can't get better than that! In the organic section, there's quite a few different organic recipes floating around. Something to consider for the future :)
