First bagseed grow..Should I nute yet?

These are my 2 little plants. From some old crappy bag seed from about 6 months ago, the seeds were black, so they're obviously not the best. These plants have been under 2 6500k, and 2 3500k flouro shop lights in my closet for a lil over 2 weeks. They're in a mix of peat and MG potting soil right now. These lil plants haven't grown much in the past week, some very small leave development, but thats about it. Theyre about 2 inches tall and are showing some yellow at the ends of some of the leaves.......I backed off on watering til the dirt was dry, thinking I was over watering them. I want to know if these should be ready for some kind of nutrients. Ive looked for superthrive with no luck. Should I just start out on some diluted plant food? Would genetics and age and quality of the seeds have much too do with the slow growth?
Sorry for the crappy pics, still learning how to use the camera I just got.

I would wait another week or so, they really dont need it yet, just give em the right amount of light, CO2, and water for right now. Nutes now could burn at such a young age. And on first feeding give them half a serving. If you wanna give something now to help with a grow, try a small amount of bloodmeal, all green plants like nitrogen. And this should def not burn them. As for plant food I didnt use any for the first month. and I have never over or under nuted yet,

They look a bit burned already, thanks to the Miracle Gro Co. if I had to guess. :)

Have you checked pH or anything? Because I believe your plants are either getting burned by the soil or have some kind of lockout. Also they do look overwatered with the wilting and twisting, atleast the first pic does, the second one looks severely burnt or somekind of lockout. Anywho good luck and hope you can figure out what needs to be done! Happy Holidays!!
edit: I wouldn't worry about superthrive too much, i believe it is more of a hormone or vitamin enhancer, i've heard not to use it during flowering because it promotes leaf growth, also have you already fed them? You didn't mention, but if you have try to flush that soil as best as you can, I believe you probably haven't fed them but the MG is burning them. Also you said you used peat and MG did you add anything else like lime to help balance the acidity of the peat? Anywho, goodluck and get back to us!
edit2: Heheh I never remember to type everything the first or second time :) Anywho what do your temps humidity and grow setup look like?

Check the bag that the MG soil came in. I used a bagged potting soil (basically Miracle Grow, just a different brand name), and my potting soil already has time release nutes. The bag should say exactly whats in it... you wouldnt want to buy nutes that have the same materials as your potting soil- if you even need to. Im doing my first grow right now, which is more of a test... and nutes are expensive. Im doing this grow without nutes alltogether. :D

These little plants haven't had any nutes other that what is already in the MG soil. Ive been using distilled water from the store to water them also, so I was hoping it would be safer than the tap water. I havent done anything for the acidity of the peat, but already wish it wasnt in there so the dirt would dry faster. When I transplant them I want to get some fox farm and perlite.

I bought a little Peat Pellet Green House kit for my new seeds that a germing now. Will these pellets give me troubles similar to the mix I am already using?

Bro get a faucet filter. Pore water in some bottles, and leave the top cap off. Leave them out for 24 hours and all the bad stuff evaporates. perfect for plants, works great with mine.

Dude any nute in any form i would not suggest until there in there 3rd or 4th week. Only think I suggest it nitrogen. Like blood meal. Or maybe some worm poop.

And senor how do you expect your plants to grow strong and big?

always remember to check ph level, should be between 6.0 and 6.9, and do not over water,, common mistake......:peace:.........:blsmoke:.................................
