O that light isnt an hps its a mercury vapor i didnt realize i wrote hps
I no MV is shitty but its all i had and it seems to be working fine

so u just screw it in or did u have to get a 175 watt light fixture

and i have a setup 390 watts of cfls for my 2 lady and ive only been flowering for a week and i would have too say for a week my 2 girls do look further along in pistol count and foliage maybe you ned that light closer or put some of the cfls about 1inch to 2 inches away good luck...

I had a fixture and lamp from about 20 years ago lol i found it in my basement. I read that its not a perfect spectrum. but since i got cfls i thot i'd just put it in to throw around some extra lumens.

Yea i swithed it to 12/12 when pre flowers were not fully developed. that might be why its not as far along. I had 6 plants that i couldnt for sure tell the sex even with a microscope. so i switched them to 12/12 an a week later i could see the first pistils and new there was 4 males.

i was thinking the same thing when i just looked at mine i have a fairly flat light coverage even with 400 watts take a look let me know what you think..also its a basement grow so iworked hard as hell getting the temp to maintain itself in this ny cold

they look nice and healthy but the stems r a little discolored. That could be a slight nutrient problem or a ph problem.
Ours look to be about the same with pistil count. but you deffinantly have more foliage.

if any thing the stems are discolored because of temps at night but yeah about the same amount of pistols if i say so myself first grow and i am very happy with results keep up your good work maybe ad another cflor two if you want alittle better yeild thats the advice i was given thought i should pass my goo fortune on too the next newb..

Yea i got a 100 watt hps off ebay and it should be here soon so ill throw that in for sure

I only have 2 girls the rest were male as u see in my avatar i started with 8 now im at 2 all the pictures were of just my two ladys but they do appear too have several tops in the pics thats the beauty of lst'ing

yea bagseed grows great bud.
my friend grew some mexican brick nasty seeds and it came out to be amazing bud
kept me blowwwwed for like 4 hours
