I use Bio-Bizz lite and all mix and am very happy with it
the Americans seem to love fox farms
making your own will be best once you've got the art down but not all of us have time or space for that

I use light mix can't really go wrong with it, all mix can be a bit hot I think imo but there you go.

It can be a little hot for the first week or 2 after being repotted, if it is a plant that doesn't respond well to heavily nuted soil to begin with you can cut the all-mix with lite-mix or use all mix at the bottom and edge and lite mix around where the plant will go in to act as a buffer because it will take time for the roots to push in to that soil, giving the rest of the plant the time it needs to mature in to needing the extra nutes
depends on the plant you're doing, I've been reading about plants like Auto Critical Jack Herrer should go straight in to a 7l+ pot where as auto sugar mango handles being re-potted very well and will benefit from a little root binding

Ya i think it depends on the strain alot. My fast and vast when straight into 7 gallon pots with ocean forest soil which is supposed to be hot as fuck

Now in week 8 plants are nearly 3 ft tall starting to fill out, buds are all over but not quiet as big as I'd expected I'm thinking they'll go 10 weeks we will see

Dunno man!!! Could just explode soon. Have seen autos up to 110 days! The breeders recomendations of x amount of days is just till there is viable budly. Not premo budly. Forget days. Focus on week to week and just look at your plants. They will speak to you in volumes throughout flower!!!!

Run them. Breeder estimates are for LAB PERFECT CONDITIONS not what the everyday grower can duplicate. So called 8 week strains perform better as it goes longer. AUTOFLOWERS have a genetic stopwatch within that show you the last stages of your grow. It will flower on its own ( regardless of age or light schedule ) , it will MATURE on its own time. Just stay the course and watch week to week.

In some varieties of 8 week flowering plants it may take an extra week to reach the peak harvesting period. It is always wise to monitor the trichomes resination with a hand held microscope or lens once you reach the end of week 6.

Here is a good example from a plant I just finished.

Autos. Such fun! Just a note. Many ruderalis crosses (autos) don't develops many amber trichs. Sometimes even cloudy trichs are sparse. I usually rely on leaves to tell me when to harvest autos. When the sweet leaf starts to go yellow, I wait a week and then chop. This tends to be about 3 weeks later than the breeder recommended harvest time.

Each strain finishes in its own way , even if it's from the same " stock ".
You could have 2 plants ( same strain ) grow very differently. One can be bushy , squatty or tall and lanky.. Judge your plants according to its grow and not necessarily on its time or week.

Help should I guerilla autos or fems?
Which should go indoors and which outdoors this late in the season help asap!

At the start of week 11 there coming along seem to be taking forever, can someone give me an inclination of when they may be ready I know it's not far away but I don't want to cut if i can squeeze some more time out of them.

Wait as long as you can. Leave them in a good dark cycle bedore you cut them. Let them plump up

Yeah I want to leave them as long as I can, and do you rekorn they have a bit more plumping in them ? Also do you think they have another week maybe 2 ?

I would say they have some more fattening up to do. Going off my F&V i was checking trichs and by the time i got a good few amber the hairs where almost all bronze amd receeding and the single leaves growing out of the buds were just yellowing. Your plants are looking good i have another 2 that look around 1.5weeks away from harvest they spit out a load of crystals everywhere lovely to make hash from trimmings. The smoke is really nice too.
