Hey this is my first aerogarden grow - I'm into week 4 of flowering, using random seed. I'm using the 7 pod AG pro 200, with only 1 plant in it.
I gave it 30 hrs of darkness then switched to 12/12.
Now I have switched it to 10/14 just to make sure things are going. I am now starting to see white hairs, and the beginning of flowers.
I topped once and now have 2 nice branches going left and right.
I'm using different nutrients, I started with the AG default nutrients and have since purchased some different stuff that is more 15-45-30. Very high in the nitrogen, I'm not sure if this is good or bad.
Some of my leaves are getting a yellow pattern developing in the center of the leaves, could this be from too much nutrients?
I'm also using this Vitamin stuff called Super Grow vitamins, it smells just like vitamins, it says one drop per gallon and you get huge results, is this stuff good or bad?
I'm located offshore with very little access to the normal nutes and stuff you guys have on the mainland.
I've got 1 CFL at 2700 Kelvins in there for flowering. It's just sitting next to the AG getting some of the lower leaves and branches.
Here's the thing, now that i've got a bloom started, is my plant going to grow much higher? I'm almost out of space my lights are extended to the top already, i have about 6 inches left before I"m out of room.
Questions -
1) should i be concerned about the yellow pattern developing on some of the leaves, it seems to start in the middle of the leaf and extend out.
2) should i be using that vitamin stuff, the label doesn't say what the contents are only that its good and produces miracle results.
3) is my plant going to get much higher? i'm in week 4 of bloom
4) is the high nitrogen nutes bad (blue crystal) or would i be better using the Aerogarden large tabs? My AG also came with brown liquid nutrients (master grow kit) in freezie containers, would these be better to use?
5) approx how much longer do i have in this grow before harvest time? (i know each strain is dif, but an approximation is all i need)
6) I have an idea to remove the AG lights and hang 3 CFL's from above (using 2700K light temps, large 40w CFLs) would this make more sense than the blue temp AG lights?
