Yeah I've heard hash butter is the way to get the ganja taste out :) The stuff I make with flowers only has a faint smell/taste but it's still there. I don't do butter I use coconut oil. Also those really fine grain coffee filters are awesome for straining - don't press when straining

Don't be surprised if your local grocer carries it brother. I'd ask just for the hell of it!
The grocer nearest me keeps it on lockdown, so you wouldn't know it was in the store unless you ask.
They don't even advertise that they have it :joint:

But it takes A LOT of trim to get a little product in the end, and aren't you doing micros?
From my last 5 small plants combined, I got maybe and eight of good kif, and and 8th of less cooking grade stuff..

Before that, I collect and saved the trim from three medium sized plants to use it all at once, and I ended up with 20grams of cookable grade stuff.
But proably used about 2-3 ounces of trim to get that.

My partner makes pretty good edible boss, and I think that the chocolate makes it alright too when you use dark chocolate.
I feel like ANY smoker would also know that his or her edibles are laced tho you know?!
Unless you're just THAT GUY when it comes to cheffing shit up lol

Owl you lucky sonofabitch... was moving the plants tonight and my hands brushed up against the buds of the ChernoJill #2... which i've been a bit disappointed with because it's less than a week behind the first in plants but it looks like it's got til almost end of may before done... it's just now starting to fill in really... but i caught a sweet whiff.... mind you before all these chernojills have smelled like straight up skunk. This time no skunk. LEMON-LIME. JOLLY. RANCHER. MMMMmmmmMMMMMmmmmmm smells so good even better than the apple jacks timewrecks. Real sweet like candy... the lemon-lime is stronger to the lemon side but not overpowering.

Don't want to count my chickens before they hatch though... 3 weeks could be an eternity... giving them the high P guano has definitely pushed it a little bit for a couple of plants got some real minor burn-y symptoms... i also think that supersoil i topped with wasn't completely done the ones i topped with it have got a bunch of ph fluxy, over-N'ed leaves :( but they're just not crazy happy still in good shape though. definitely too much N in this mix but it was a last minute thing... hopefully next round will be better... oh and my veg mix doesn't appear to be done either... got several cuttings upstairs that are not happy campers, though i think all will survive without too much damage... a couple got more burn than i'm used to dealing with though... not sure what can be done for them other than to let'em grow into it.

Thanks... getting close... I think the oldest ones should be done in a week and a half... I'm thinking of taking one plant at the end of this week (wk 8) just to have something harvested... it'll depend on what I see :) My floor is covered in string & paperclips... getting ready to do some major tie downs on the next generation. I'm thinking I may transplant the biggest cuts this weekend so they can go right into flower in a couple weeks :) We'll see I'm doing topping this time so I gotta make sure I give'em some grow time... gonna do it closer to mainlining style. I got 3 gs off of fluffy teeny bottom buds from one plant... so hoping for some really nice yields. I wasn't expecting much from the CCMs since they don't have a ton of tops, but they're a lot denser than the timewrecks I think I might get some pleasant surprises come harvest time. I'm crossing my fingers and expecting a 3z/plant average with 4-5 on the top end and 1-2 on the low end. 18 ladies. Do the math :) We'll see though I expected last harvest to be heavier too and it was a huge disappointment :) those were much smaller plants with fewer colas though.

They need to be raised up a bit... i'm hoping to build the new cab this weekend tho i'm still working on plans.

Well I never said any were gonna be done this weekend... I just said I was thinking of pulling one :) Was thinking of the oldest CCM that has yellowing fans. But then I was thinking of that wayyyy old commercial (dating myself) 'we will sell now wine before its time' and i don't wanna pull any dank before its time either... so probably won't. The samples I'm on now are looking reeeeaaaallll good... frosty with nice orange-red hairs good enough to go they're just real small when dried... those were pulled a week ago though almost... i'm gonna wait til it's time don't worry i pull on an individual basis whenever the plant looks like it's really really done. None of'em are yet but getting closer. Can't wait to be done with the twice a days.

Oh and yeah there is UV in there each LED has one UV diode an then there's the 48" t8 lights on either end of the cab 64w 10.0 UVB for each one - they don't put out a lot of visible spectrum though wish I'd gotten t5s but the ones i've seen only go up to 5.0 UV output. Most of the trichs are just because timewreck's a strain that just puts out a lot of trichs on the leaves that's one of the reasons I got it :) always love good hash plants it's like an extra bonus.

I was thinking about the transporting clones issue. If you could keep a sealed bucket of acid that would dissolve plant material quickly you could avoid having to eat them.

Or possibly keep a hungry colony of black soldier fly larva. They can devour things quickly

Hmm not sure how well those things are going to work in a travelling car... but something to think about for sure.

I still think the oldest ones could be done as soon as 1.5 - 2 weeks.... less developed ones 3-4 weeks... here is an example of one I am thinking of 1.5 - 2 weeks... don't see any amber in there yet but almost all cloudy.


Today would be day 53 for this one I believe but since it doesn't get the full 12 hours and is taken out extra time every day almost because it is one of the 2 that has to be watered almost every day at this point... so it is probably closer to day 49 of development taking all that into account... I expect the different things like that to add 1/2 - 1 week to all of these plants. They only get 11:35 - 11:45 of darkness and when they get watered they're usually not under the bright lights for 1-2 hours. Going to be sooooo happy in about 3 weeks when there's no more moving them around.
