YES! I plan to do so on my grow (link in my signature)
It does depend on your outdoor factors.

Ideally, you need a day 12 hours or longer, but NOT shorter.
You can let the plant be, if, like me you have 11 - 12 hours of light a day, guaranteed, or you can leave it out in the light for 12 hours, and cover her up witha box or something for another 12.

Additionally;

Temperatures, particularly at night may need to be controlled.
Heat must be kept in check during the day too! 25 DegC thereabouts.
Humidity should be in at around 50%

Ok my plants are in its 5th week in flowering they are looking pretty good...I just wanted to know because I'm using the aerogarden hood lights and I know that's not enough light but they look pretty good...I just want the buds to get a lil bigger
