Queen: Asking a question makes me come off as somebody who thinks they know more than everyone else? That kind of defies logic no? With respect to weed, the only thing I'm an expert at is enjoying it! I try to help people when I can on here. But I make it a point not to answer any q's where my answer doesn't come from personal experience. Seems like you answer a lot of questions about stuff you don't know about and give a lot of bad advice.

I implied fdd didn't know shit? huh? Actually, I implied that since he HAS knowledge in the area he should share it. I did call him out though. It just seems like he does know his shit but rarely shares. He tells people that they are doing something wrong, but doesn't tell them how they should be doing it.

Fdd: It seems like you're obviously knowledgable but you TELL rather than SHARE, if that makes any sense. The first example that comes to mind is your post about harvesting too soon. The only post of yours that I've gained any of your knowledge is your grow journal. On the board I have'nt seen many attempts at constructive feedback. Maybe I'm wrong. But that's just what I've noticed.

That's not what he was doing. He was trying to get advice on ways of networking with distributors. He's not wanting to meet strangers and/or sell anything online. He clearly states the reason for his question is so he DOESN'T have to resort to those kinds of tactics!

-find a mid level gang (GD, bkloods, crips, bitch lords etc)
-make friends with a member let him try a "sample"
-then set up a 1 on 1 meeting in a coffee shop with an "associate" of theirs
-ur the dealer u have the upper hand but remember THESE ARE GANGBANGERS don't tell them u grow, don't tell them ur connect , and don't deal at ur house or anyone u know house
-tell them the price upfront no bs or u'll lose ur life if they're real
-ask for an electronic money counter to be present or bring ur own and check 4 fake bills

thats it it sounds complicated but it's not and in this method of selling a cop is takin a serious risk on his life for a drop in the bucket like FDD said it seems like fdd is the only one who understands how big this market is and who the DEA wants this is no a hit on anyone and i would love 4 a pig to try me i make all deals that i do so that if it is a pig he either wont catch me or he'll die go ahead try and tear me a new one i really don't give a fuck

Well, since there's only one legit attempt at answering the original question, I'm going to take a stab at it...

First off, where do you live? If you live in a state where medical marijuana is legalized, you should check around for a 'medicine store,' aka a legal pot shop. These stores are always looking for product.

If it's not legal, you're going to have to find a smaller time dealer. Like FDD said, 5lbs really ain't much, especially if you pull 5lbs every harvest (meaning every 2 months). Soooo... my advice is this: The best $$ to be made is in quarter pounds. Find two or three steady persons (I'll get to how to find them in a minute) that are at the qp level and sell them each a qp a week, or however often they need it. I'm not sure of prices where you are, but around here, 1,050$ is an awesome price for a dank qp and will sell super fast. With 2 or 3 people at about a qp a week and a harvest every two months, you'll be making some good timing.

Anywho, the hard part is actually finding those qp dealers. I'm sure you already have a pot dealer for your personal sacks, right? Ask him to hook an ounce. If he can, chances are he's around the qp level. And if he's already your pot dealer, you should be able to have some trust in him. Bang: runner #1.

I would now advize you to go out and try to find more new dealers who sell small sacks. Buy some from them time to time, regardless of whether you need it or not. Over the course of a month, just talk to them, blaze with them, get to know them. After awhile, you should have a pretty good opinion formulated. Ask if they can do the ounce thing, and if so, you have a good prospect.

A few tips to remeber:
-> Never deal out of your house
-> Buy a disposable cell phone; never use a phone tied to you
-> Never reveal the fact you grow
-> Do not front people
-> Make your drops quick and smooth
-> Use your intuition -- it goes a long way

Good post, the only thing I disagree with is not fronting people. I like to front people its a good test of their trust and it gives me a good gauge on how capable they are of moving product. Some people will just smoke the oz and scramble to pay me back. Some people don't pay me back. I take it all as the cost of doing business and I think it benefits me more than the loss of a petty oz every now and then. Fronting an oz to people has allowed we to "weed" out the people I should not be doing business with.

FDD and Mr. Marks are right. If you have to ask on a internet forum, well then maybe you are in the wrong bizz. I have read alot of FDD's post's and well, from that I get he know's what he is doing and that's that. Why Question? and if Mr. Mark's is who he is Mr. Nice. Well then, that's that as well. If you are going to play the game, shouldnt you know the game? This isnt a site of cheat codes for business imo. This is a site where growers come together to help those who love what they grow, Not so much making money from it. If that's your game, then fine by me.
