Hey folks. Been scouring these boards and so many helpful folks out there. Its truly awesome. But I see alot of "what were you thinking" type of responses. Thats not very nice of us as a community. We expect new folks to somehow know what info to leave to get help or to know they shouldn't use...

Yeah I switched back to FFOF and happy frog for my current grow because I didn’t wanna have to do as much. But if it doesn’t turn out as well then I’m gonna switch back to the natures care.

No nitrogen toxicity. Some genetics just grow like that. I feed nutes at half recommended strength and then I water for 2+ weeks of plain water before harvesting and some still keep that green. And MG natures care basically has no real food in it already. I was actually thinking the same and I dialed back the N during my grow and watered more plain water and it still wouldn’t go away. Then I flushed and water with plain water for almost three weeks and they still stayed pristine green. I gave up after that lol

Oh btw guys. NECTAR FOR THE GODS soil is absolute crap! Ruined the grow I had after that which is why I never showed any results. I would not recommend at all.

Ive never ran FFOF, just the trio. I’d rather have Gaia Green but it’s damn near impossible to get. They won’t ship to me. Roots organic is about as close you can get to their stuff. No complaints with RO though. I might have to try FFOF at least once just to see how it goes. I’ve heard just as many horror stories as I have success. Had me on the fence for a while to even attempt. But I’m definitely gonna do another run of MG.

FFOF is some of the best. It’s just a hot soil so it’s easy to burn using it. And it’s also always N heavy for some reason always leading to N toxicity. So you gotta really dial back the N when using FFOF. you can even go full plain water for maybe two months. That’s how hot it is.

I think I’m gonna stick with the MG because I’ve had my best runs in those and once you get it properly PHed it’s easy to work with and it doesn’t have an overdose of food in it.

BTW the USA equal to Gaia green is called “Down to earth”. Check out their brand and organic ferts.

I thought about running DTE but I ran with RO because I like a little more N during veg. The “ All Veg garden is 4-4-4 like Gaia Green, just lacking the N. But in terms of comparison to Gaia Green, I agree it’s pretty much spot on. I seen a buddy’s run with GG and I liked how it turned out, only reason I wanted to get it. But I’m right there with you, after this harvest it’s MG time. I like RO but MG just did something liquid Nutes and RO doesn’t. I’ll create a grow log thread once I do it, and show that MG can stand up next to the big boys if done correctly.

I'm not saying people need to act like asshats however people also shouldn't come to a active library of folks with the grow they are doing without expecting it to be fine tooth combed.

But yea we can start with some Vaseline before we dive in I suppose.
