Finally decided to stop being a slob and clean my piece...now

I would like to know if anyone had some good remedys for getting that burnt black shit out of the bowl. Some of it close to the smoke hole came off with salt rubbing alcohol and warm water, but the stuff thats left is like hard and almost looks like part of the bowl like its caked on there pretty good. Know some good stuff to get that shit off?

Run some hot water through your piece, lay it in the sink & give it a couple of shots of this stuff.

Rinse with LOTS of hot water.
Repeat as necessary.

A clean piece is a happy piece.

I use toothpicks to scrape that crap off after soaking it in either ethanol or isopropanol for about an hour. Usually though, by that point I can wipe it all out with a paper towel, and hot water rinses the inside clean. The glass looks brand new after that

scrape off what you can with a toothpick or paperclip or whatever and soak it overnight in some clean alcohol and then shake it around with the salt again. i use epsom salt for that because it's more jagged and scrapey and in bigger pieces. the overnight soak will usually get the stubborn stuff if you scrape off some of the chunks.

I clean my piece with soap in the shower. I start with the tip, work it around, and down to the base. Unless of course my piece was used a lot the night before, then of course I use wash rag and really scrub it good.

Acetone (fingernail polish remover) cleans glass the best. We used it in chemistry class to clean our glassware.

No need to soak - it will wash it right off! It is magic

idk about that this shit is on there real good haha but ill find out later tonight, now time to go dirty it up a little haha

Just make sure you use the acetone in a well-ventilated area, and let the excess evaporate off. Don't dump it down the drain.
