File compression, someone help me

ahh, that 7z didnt work in the end.
yeah i should get a new flash drive. thing is though, i bought one when i was in college. 128mb!! lol
i only have files the size of 5 meg ish for work and max is 20meg so ive never needed to upgrade.
looks like il have to get myself a 1g flash drive.
just a bitch. the file is 702meg and i need to shave 2 or 3 meg off it to fit onto a cd

got no blank dvds and im at work in the office and they dont have any.
its a divx file.

dont have internet at home till friday. just moved into new house.
it doesnt matter. guess ill just have to leave it for today.
i was planning on getting this film home so i could watch it 2night but it doesnt matter. ive seen it anyway and sure ill have it at home on my TV by the weekend.

i think its better....
as u can see from the results... the bytes are clearly lower than those from winrar 3.51

Try FreeArc and see if can compress it more. Use the highest compression settings possible. You may even be able to double zip it.
It's possible to create a gigabyte or larger size text file with all 'a's in it, then compress it multiple times 'til it is really small. A compressed file like this can lock systems that have anti-virus software set up to expand and scan compressed files.

i would but i cant install nero on my work machine. i dont have a legit copy and if i try to install a pirate copy it connects to the internet and realises its not legit an wont let me use it.

i used to have this program write files depending on what file size i desired.
used it for quotas and shit when dloading...
worked like a charmed, but im sure they hated blank files!
