What's up RIU. Journaling this multistrain grow this round. Here's the info:

1 - Heavyweight seeds - Fruit Punch (fem)
2 - World of Seeds - Strawberry Blue (fem)
3 - Breeders Boutique - Engineers Dream x 2 (reg)

Sunshine #4 advanced. Going from 1g starter pots to 5g fabric pots to finish. Jacks Citrus FeED nutes and Dyna-Gro Pro Tekt from start to finish. I'll be starting these off in water for 24 hours, then to the 1g pots. I'm using a 13w cfl for starting the seedlings. They will be transferred to an Ushio HiLux Grow 600w MH for the rest of veg, and will finish off under a Ushio 600w HPS. This is the third run, and last for these bulbs. We'll be in a 3x3x9 tent, AC hood, 400cfm exhaust with a Phresh filter.

The seeds were dropped in water at 6pm on 12/10/14 :bigjoint:

I've grown the Fruit Punch before. I'm expecting a good yield with her. I will be topping and doing some underbrush trimming on all plants. I'm going to be flipping to flower once the plants are 12-16" tall.

Potted the seeds. The ED were the only to not show a tap root after 26 hours in water, but they are probably the nicest looking seeds I have ever seen and I would hope to be fine.

I premoistened the Sunshine mix and placed the seeds 1/2" down, and covered with mix.

The "mix" isn't straight Sunshine, but I added perlite and garden lime. It drains very well, and works well with the fabric pots they will finish off in.

All 4 seedlings have popped through their shells, and are starting to push through the soil. The SB was the first, followed by the FP, and the EDs took a little longer since they did not crack open at all in the water.

Gave a light feeding last night to 3 of them. The second ED really took off after out of the shell. The runt ED got a little too much water. The second set of leaves are just coming through. Hopefully we'll start seeing some good growth soon.

Day 17. Pic update. Group shot, FP, SB, ED 1 & 2. ED 1 is a mutant, or mutant baby. I can't wait to see what happens with it. I just topped the 3 that were ready at the 3rd node, and fed with Citrus FeED, Pro-Tekt, and Epsom salt.

Looking good mate keep up the good work

How long you planning to veg for them... ?
Thanks bro. However long it takes to get 12-16". My last 2 grows have been trees, and I want to stay shorter this round. If Any of these turns out to be a big stretcher then I'll supercrop.

My goal is to have the canopy at a larger distance than I normally do. I tend to get canoeing on the top leaves and some foxtailing due to the plant height and temps. I want to see how around a 36" or so distance from the bulb will change these stresses. Hopefully happier plants :bigjoint:
