FFOF soil + nutes help!

- gave nutes 1st time beginning of week very mild dose, 1/2 what the feeding schedule calls for.

People told me FFOF soil is real hot and if i fed them nutes x2 a week it fry the roots. Others told me i'd be alright if i did a very diluted dose. Well todays the day i was suppose to give them nutes the 2nd time in the week.

If anybody has an opinion if i should just wait and stick to 1x a week, or if you think x2 watered down is ok ….

you don't want to feed those plants........ little bit of the big bloom if you just cant help yourself.......easy on the water tho......

After about 3 to 4 weeks just start feeding them normally. You can do every other watering or you can do nute, nute, water, nute, nute, water. What kind of nutes you using?

FF nutes. Big bloom, grow big, tiger bloom. At the beginning of the 4th week gave them very watered down dose of nutes. 3 tsp big bloom added to a gallon of water, thats 1/2 what the feeding schedule says. I didn't even use the whole gallon either, less than half between a few, so i very diluted first dose. what you think maybe 1x a week?

nothing wrong w watering every day if they need it.........its the amount of water you should worry about...... seriously tho.. no nutes.....those are little bitty plants in big pots theres plenty of nutrition left in there for them........ and theyre super green anyhow .... don't feed em........ if I was you I would top dress them w some castings and rocks then cut the tops out.....then I would pour two of those bottles down the drain

Im not gonna top cuz its my first time and i just want to get a harvest under my belt. Plus they're all from seed, I've been told its a lot more important to top clones because they yield less.
But what do you mean top dress them with castings and rocks?

you pretty much have to top or train everything indoors...to say clones yield less might be right but its incomplete ... ifs and buts.......castings are worm castings... worm poop......... trying to give you a little shove towards growing organic......

You dont have to top indoors. No idea what that guy is talking about.

Are we talking about the same plants in your journal? They look nice.

If you're watering those plants every day, I dont see how you are getting away with it. Unless you are you just watering the soil directly around the plant. You should be able to give the soil a good soaking and go several days between watering. The plants are pretty small compared to the pots they're in.

Use all FF gear follow the feeding chart but only use 25% of dosage. FFOF gives you 3 weeks to a month then you need to start the feeding schedule. You can and should use FF big bloom and probably some general hydro cali-magic from the time it sprouts. I run the entire FF line soil trio soil treatments and the flower boosters. I start in Happy frog in party cups for 2 weeks then go into FFOF for 3 weeks then start feeding but like I said i use the calmag and big bloom from sprout. I have found the big bloom gives you more side branching when used in early stages. A very important thing to remember always check your PH especialy in vegin flower its not s important when using tigerbloom a it stabilizes PH to 6.5

yea same plants, and I'm not filling container with water just enough around the stem to keep it moist, idk they seem to be responding well. So i don't have to top right?

So the feeding schedule calls for 6 tsp of BB to a gallon of water, and feed them with that x2 a week…. in reality i should do 2 tsp BB added to a gallon? and should i still do it x2 a week or 1?

No, you dont have to top.

When you water you need to soak the whole pot. Give it a good soaking and make sure there is some runoff through the bottom of the pot. You're going to have nutes build up if you keep watering like that and you dont want to let the soil surrounding the roots to go dry.

I promise they will respond better to a good soaking and then wait a few days until the next one. You can probably go 4-5 days and then more frequently as it fills up the pot with roots.

I top all my sativas. My mangos which are indica are just clones that I didn't top. I havent topped any of my indicas so far and have gotten good yield.

Also, look at his plants, they're small for 4 weeks. They dont need to be topped yet if he is going to.
