Few questions questions about spider mites. (about spraying & the bug itself)

Hi guys,

So i discovered yesterday my two and only plants both have spider mites. one not as bad as the other. (both plants are in veg)

Anyway, i'm treating the plants right now. I'm using Mighty Wash. So i sprayed it on, and now i wait 3 days and do it again.

Now during these three days, should i be doing anything else to help kill is s.o.b's? will misting the leaves undo the mighty wash i sprayed on? or do i just let the mighty wash do it's magic?

I have my plants isolated in my bathroom. I've cleaned out my grow tent, which i was using to veg them. I disinfected it.

Is it "safe" to move my plants back into the tent and continue vegging them? will i recontaminate my tent somehow? or should i just wait at least the 3 days and do another spraying, before I return them to my tent? to insure i don't have to disinfect the tent again.

How long can spider mites live, not being on a plant? before i figured out i had a spider mite problem, i was moving these plants about my house. including putting them on my kitchen counters. should i now start to disinfect my entire house to make sure there isn't some lone wolf just waiting out there? can those guys traverse my carpet to get back to my grow room?

Put a no pest strip in the tent. Yes they can hang around on shoes and stuff. I,d treat again in 3 days. Spray any new clones you buy and treat during vegging even tho you see nothing. ( or use predators) No pest strips kill predators too so be aware. I had a bad infestation last grow but they have never come back where I have seen them. Mighty wash kills eggs but you want to kill any you missed as they hatch. There is a rinse spray but I don,t know the name.

Ok, ya that's a good idea, i'll make sure to get a pest strip in my tent.

can you recommend and predator insects? I thought i read somewhere ladies bugs work well. But i've also seen how they can get out of hand themselves.

also just checked my plants again for the spider mites now that i've done the first spraying. i did notice a few that where still on the underside of the leaves. they weren't moving. i couldn't even see their legs moving, so i would assume they are dead or dying. will there normally be "corpses" still left on the leaves after i spray?

Yup ..corpses. That Mighty wash and the strips will predators too. Lacewing and look at predatory mites.
