Fertilizing 101?

Ok. So am I some kind of dumbass or am I just searching in the wrong places? I've read everything possible about growing cannabis and know the method front and back but one thing I didn't pick up is an easy way to fertilize without using machines and test strips and such throughout the vegetation and flowering stages. So far the only cheap (free) way of fertilizing that I know of is pissing in a bottle and diluting it with water. Can anyone explain to me what products I need, when to use them, how much to use and pretty much draw me a step by step picture in my head of how to do this? Or maybe an existing thread or reading material? Because I'm worn out trying to find this information.

go to the store, find a fertilizer that is high in nitrogen ( n/p/k=nitrogen/phosphorus/potassium) that is your vegging nute. to add it just feed the plant 1/4 strength doses w/its water and work your way up every third watering or so after the plant is 3 weeks old(. now look for a fert w/little or no nitrogen and high phosphorus and potassium and stop the veg nutes and start the high p/k nutes when u start flowering and slowy increasing the dose as you go like b4 with veg. add 2 tbl spoons of mollasses to each gallon of water while in flowering too.....it helps alot! 2 weeks or so b4 harvest flush em and only give plain water and mollasses from then on.

The recomended NPK for pot in veg is 10-10-10 and 10-30-20 for flower. If you piss on your plants you are only giving them Nitro. For Veg I mix FoxFarms GrowBig with Technaflora grow to get a NPK close to 10-10-10. I also mix FF Open Seseme with Supernatural Bloom to get the NPK I want for flower. So I say mix whatever you have to to get close to those numbers and you will be good. Otherwise you can buy nutes with those numbers. Peters fertilizer is 10-10-10 and BioBizz Bloom is 1-3-2 which is the same as 10-30-20. Good Luck!

i use technaflora recipe for success....i like it
u measure ur solution with a tds meter....but to get 1/4 strength simply mix full dose and dilute it 1 part solution and 3 parts water

they should give u a little cup in the bag and for example i'll grab my ferts and use what it says as the example.....peters 20/20/20with micronutrients. "1. mix with water at the following rate....outdoor =1 tablespoon a gallon or 1 teaspoon a gallon for indoor." use 1/4 of what it says to use.

I use a PPM meter now days. Its a lot easier to measure the strenght of the nutes. I used to use 1/2 the recomended doses and now that I have the meter I see that it was a little strong but close enough. I have tried FoxFarms, SuperNatural, General Hydro, Technaflora and Botanicare which was the strongest and my least favorite. All the others were good at 1/2 strenght. I now prefer Supernatural and Technaflora products but I still use FF too!

Send your fellow indoorman a private message with a link to you. And I will send you some samples of a product that will blow away the competition. You will have to add some nutrients to it, but a tenth of what the bottle says. The product I am using can make an average grower laugh all the way to the bank.
