Feminized?

How do breeders feminize seeds? Are they lugit or is it all a gimmick?

feminized seeds are made by forcing a female plant to grow some male pollen sacks (withe the application of giberillic acid i do believe) and with that pollen pollinate the same plant... with only the plants females genes availible, you end up with a much higher percentage of female plants..
