feeding outdoors!!!

hello all, I have to admit I definitely know more about growing indoors, than I do about the outdoors. My question is very simple, how often should I be feeding my plants, they are in the ground outside, not in pots. They are doing quite well, I see them as much as possible. Last year as I said know nothing about growing outdoors, I had a great WW X BB going in about a 3 gal pot, and I must have fed her too much and I killed her before any of the buds were worth saving, it smelt really nice too. anyway I don't want to make the same mistake twice. Right now I feed twice a month, Iguess I've learned my lesson, I have to get new food too.:weed::spew::leaf::leaf:

u CAN feed after the cortdeons or the rounded leaves fall off or in 3 weeks of growth, but it all depends.... if you have great soil like we do in n. illinois u dont need any nutes. good thing to do is only feed when they need it. but if u wanna start feeding then start 1/4 strenght and see how that does and work ur way up. some strains are pickjey, but you should be able to feed every other watering or so. i personally only feed when they look like they need it wich aint too often, so i dont really have to cure my nuggs when they done cuzz the chlorafhyll is minimal and evapes. pretty much all the way when the bud dries fully
