a 1/4 of a milligram (MG) huh? lol roflmao. You sure do know the basics bro....
I think he meant he uses 1/4 strength of miracle grow. (not milligram)
.. But it is still funny, since one got better, and one got worse.

[SARCASM]It is certainly an exact science when dealing with those time release feed soils.[/SARCASM]

either way bro, its still hilarious. I knew he meant miracle grow. he just needs someone to grow his plants so he doesn't have to think. You can kinda tell thinking is not his "strong suit"

but seriously, I like a good debate, but please leave ethnicity out of it, racism is not very cool
Stating someone isn't mexican isn't racist. I didn't get any racist vibes from what he said, and I honestly have to agree with him in the sense that miracle grow doesn't make anything taste "chemy". I can say that from experience. I use it to grow vegetables and fruits with it, and they taste perfectly normal. Beyond that being incorrect, I have never read that book and know nothing of how correct it is or not. I can only speak to that point.

and he picks a user name almightyfinesse, which he is way far from finesse
This is the part where I unsub from this thread and disappear. Not getting involved in childish arguments, and not gonna help someone like him. Though I can understand his frustration. He wants to be treated as an equal in knowledge, but he uses no grammar and sounds ridiculous. Beyond that, he expected us to tell him absolutely everything, yet somehow expects us to believe he's on our level. It's not exactly how it works. Either way... have a nice day everyone. Peace.

the way he stated it bro, fingers out racism. And I know you use chems but can u make that argument? Have you done completely true living organic crops before? You don't give me the vibe that you have. Unless you master both, Id reserve opinion.

Mg All Purpose is not optimum food for ganja. The Miracle-gro product line provides MG for Tomatoes; this will work better for cannabis.
For seedlings I advise not using over 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of either All Purpose or MG for Tomatoes. Less is always more.
If you are keeping your seedling two inches away from a CFL bulb that is a problem...I put mine about 1/4 to 1/2 inch away and I have used the biggest CFL bulbs I could find...more light will provide more robust growth...have a fan to ventilate your grow area.
I would NEVER use any MG soil, but have grown many a fine crop with MG fertilizers.

ALL of this angst over a simple fertilizer which millions of customers have had great results with is quite bizarre and confounding.
Millions of happy customers keep on buying MG year after year and decade after decade for their yummy vegetable crops...which are all eaten and not smoked BTW!

nice post bro. Its not that we are against it really. Its the fact that the user cannot add or have a moderate amount of reasoning. And also, this user does no learning on his own. he asks ridiculous questions and expects someone for advice on every little nuance of his grow.

but nothing against you, but I beg to differ. I think MG buds are chemmy tasting....
Then do not use it for your buds.

It make my tomatoes taste great...big and juicy...mmmm,mmm,
good!
If MG did not produce healthy, robust, big and fat veggies of all types they would have gone out of business years ago.
However,
they have a very loyal large group of repeat customers who have zero complaints.

MG might not be the very best ferts for cannabis, but the tomato formula works very well indeed, and it costs a mere pittance.

I think the OP was wondering how much fertilizer to add to the soil.
Even though some growers have success with MG...
The problem is, the soil has time release ferts in it, so determining how much more nutrients to add to that can be difficult to figure out.

This thread shouldn't be about whether MG is good or not, but how much extra food to add.
I think the OP will have a hard time finding a grower that has experience with growing in soils of this type to give some feedback.

I have used 5x strength MG on my cannabis outdoors they love it, I just don't use it the last 8 weeks I go to an organic bloom for 4 weeks. Every strain taste has a great flavor and not of metal or chemicals.

bro, I can guarantee you I don't use it on MY buds lol. and as far as tomatoes, my buddy uses it. he gets 2lb tomatoes. I grow mine organically and my tomatoes are 3 to 4 pounds and have more juice and flavor....

in my opinion, yes MG does its job for sure and that's why they are still in business. But I think their marketshare has a lot of amateur gardeners and its simple to use....
