Since he kept them short, he can keep more plants under that light. Check into sog

1 600w HPS. 20+ plants. i'm on a rotating cycle. 5 come out every 2 weeks or so and 5 new ones go in. that is why some are budded and others aren't.

think u veged them long enough fdd its a v,nice set up u hav luv 2 hav 1 of them big lights an try a grow with it hangin side ways so allthe steams r gettin the light

i know how sog works. you want more buds, get more lighting. this is the bottleneck of your bud production. you can tweak here and there and get marginally better results sure, but more lights or less plants will dramatically change your bud production.

how will less plants increase bud production? more lights is not an option.

they get to branch out more.

but if they branch out isn't that the same as having a different plant next to it. a packed canopy is a packed canopy. i could have 1 plant or 50 it is all the same. i'm pulling a 1/4lb every 2 weeks when i got it dialed.

dammit, you poked my ego. i had to go out and take so recent pics. i raised my light for some of these.

6", barely 1 gallon.

im using 2....next kiddie pool is 6in then... thanks, i was wondering where you "stole" thos alum racks from, then i rememberd you saying you were a welder or sumtin?

edit: does this kerosine burner business cause to much heat and howa bouts did you recon on it, i have only seen natural gas co2 generators, and other things like tanks and fungis. care to elaborate?

Fdd, very sweet looking grow there, bud! Man, am I jealous. I saw where someone questioned the size of the pot you were using and I would have said the same thing to you a week ago UNTIL someone posted a link to another site that showed pics from this competition where guys were growing out of those red plastic drinking cups - the 4" ones. The plants were 3' muddereffing tall and were covered with bud!

it was freezing so the room my room is in was really cold. i run my lights at night. i would put the heater on low and set it just outside my intake vent. the heat and CO2 would get sucked into the flower room then exhausted back into the main room. after ten minutes in the room my eyes would burn and i would get dizzy. i never did take a CO2 reading. i found the heater on "craigslist" for $50. i spent $35 every 2 weeks on CO2 but i burnt it 12 hours a day. Kerosene Heaters

ahh i see. very clever indeed. i run my lights during the day. a battle i am almost winning, so added heat would be a problem for summer, but mayber winter. sounds like a fairly inexpensive but effecient rig, and thats what im about .

im pretty sure your co2 levels are addiquete if you are getting dizzy in there, no need for a PPM guage. ever thought of using a canerie? j/k

i am still shopping for my co2, i will have to effectively supply a 5x8x6 and 4x4x6 mother/clone room at the same time. ahhh so many toys to buy...

everything else is awesome, but im sure you knew that already. looking forward to more pics in the future
