Well i have a problem with timer !!

so my plants they are going in 2 week vege, so they are now sprouted about 1,2 week ago and last friday my new timer shown some failure, it stayed on, timer should turn lights off at 00.35 at night but i discovered it not work so well, hole week is going perfectly, but at friday night the lights stayed on like about in 3.30 at night time i saw the lights are still on!!!

So 1.2 week vege, lights 18/6 but last friday, timer fails and let the lights on, i turned it down and now these days are going fine but timer is untrushted now and ill gonna buy a new one at next week, so my plants was like 3-6cm tall, 1-3 pairs of leaves, very tiny ones, but do i have to worry that my plants are turend hermies ?? all plants are feminized. so do i got problem or might they all be fine ?? :fire:

No you have nothing to worry about since they are vegging.

Just go get a new timer and be done with it

you shouldnt have any issues...

if your vegging and the light cycle was increased (ie, the girls got less than the 6 hours of dark) then its more than fine.. i grow under 24/0 in my veg room.. the more the better.. but thats an entirely different arguement...

even during flowering, 1 day where things get fucked up wont kill the entire grow... a couple extra hours of light, although not good, wont damage your plants at all..

now, repeated flucuations and inconsistancies over multiple days can/will affect your grow and possibly hermie your girls...

but the 1 time things got screwed up, and the fact you are using fem'd seeds, which came from a breeder and prolly have strong genetics, are both reasons not to worry..

good luck and good harvest!

your timer was not rated for an inductive load.
massive inrush current when your lights start up caused the contact terminals on your timer to overheat and fuse shut
you need a timer that is rated for an INDUCTIVE LOAD
the cheap timer you have was more than likely designed to be used with RESISITIVE LOADS.
happens alot man... live and learn bongsmilie

Well Thanks guys, coz i have made hermie monsters couple of times my last timer, and this timer shown he's those lazy fuckers :) lol

but yeah like 1.2 week ago they sprouted and hole week until friday the light dosent turn off and stayed like 3-4 hours over the light period, i started again about 2 weeks ago because my last timer mess up 3-4 times like that i bought new one and now this timer do the same thing but only now that once, te time period dosent have changes, they have been keep going again normal 18/6 same at last week but i think this timer do this light mess again so i will buy a new GOOD expensive timer at next week, but my plants are still save ?? and they going to flower good ?? and i got 600w HPS :) my new light too :-P

but if the new timer dosent work and keeps failing ill think ill keep growin them and flower maybe them and take all the stuff and make it hash coze those seeds are expensive. but thanks and ill keep going i will make some journal later, i got Alaskan Ice, White Widow, Aurora Indica, Jock Horror, NYCD and ICE plants there :) so all the god's power plants comin !! :weed:

.............................................

WELL i have thinking thay Inductive thing, this is maybe the problem or main problem with that the timer dosent work, its works like 2-3 weeks fine but then one day it dosent work, and then again 2 weeks fine ( this was my last grow ) and then again it stayed on like that.. so i have to buy that kind timer where is Inductive Load in it ?? and this timer wasent cheap it has 5 years warranty and it cost almost 40e ( like 50 bucks ) or something, so i know where i can find these Inductive 16 A loads timers and i wikll buy that kind timer and my problem is gone right ??? :o but thanks !

well, in that case, it would be cheapest for you ti find a RELAY to control the lights... and use the TIMER tpo control the RELAY
do you understand?
