Them genes are stable as shit. I have only seen 2 phenos and those have like 0 variance it's one or the other and damn near clones otherwise. TGA should be calling Marty up to get some tips... LOL got to take my sub jab for the week.

These are F-1's.
Some settling of contents may occur in shipping.

Who is Sub?
I mean who's Thurman Munson?
Bird, Bird, Bird is the word...

If you look real close it starts to grow on you:

Please don't take this personal; I made it myself with Shake-n-Bake!

Bird, Bird, Bird is the word.

So I named it The Bird.

So I'm thinking here and I wonder if the tenth leaf is the key to immortality?
Or is it just the beginning of one of those freaks that grows an extra bud in the leaves?

If anyone steals it from me I'm going to know it. :-P
That's about 40 days from seed - still in veg while I think and stuff.

Hey man I was Googleing and found this article about mutations that mentions the extra leaf/bud in leaf mutation in passing.
Mutant Mary Jane

From other stuff I have read so far this is the mutation that often leads to buds forming on the fan leaves.

I swear the sky-God loves me.
I kept looking at a couple from this batch and thinking there was enough room there for something else to pop out.
I no use colchicine or any of that stuff; natural selection is my thing.
I doubt this trait will pass on to others from the plant if used as a host.
But if it's female and decent smoke it could be a clone only.

I'm thinking it could become useful for BHO makers? :eyesmoke:

I took this pic in my friends garden last week. Its a LA Confidential with a big fat calyx growing in the middle of a leaf.

Is he gone?

The one on the Left is the Purple Gang and it is turning purple on all the tops in veg.
It's a girl.
The one in the middle is about to die.
I don't like it.
The Bird is on the right.

This Fat Purple looks as though it will grow an entire new branch out of the petiole.
Already the newer growth up top is splitting into two leaves;
I assume it will at least generate another full set of leaves on top of the originals.

I'm going to wait until this vegs longer before sexing;
so far it looks fem if anything to me.
I imagine it will show itself soon even in veg.

Oh wOw... Kool.Is this the Fat Purple thread... That EXACT mutation happened to my FP male (he is gone now, rip). So that 'middle finger' must be part of the genetic make-up for sho. :-)

DSCF4282.jpgExperimenting with my fat purple, I got this one in a screen....obviously; and I'm going to let it fill her up some.
View attachment 2596501This one I didn't even top, just letting it go free and we'll see what one does better. Still got fat purple beans and G-13 crosses to put in dirt. I need more patients LOL

My fatPurple is looking a-freakin-mazing! I'm going to have some weird offspring from it too, I don't know who the hell pollinated it though. Looked again today for balls, I can't find any. I know damn well the male plants I had didn't get a chance to open and drop pollen, the balls were all still way too immature. Maybe when I chop and trim I'll come across something if it doesn't manifest itself sooner than later...

It's doing good though and going to be some nice meds. Frosty as hell and a very nice flavor if the smell carries over and it's anything like PurpleMarty it will have a heavy medicinal effect. :)
any pictures love to see what you are talking about

My two Fat Purples, still really need to transplant these into bigger pots. As you can see, two different phenos. hoping at least the short fat one is a girl, no signs of sex yet....
