Fat Buds

how do i fatten up my buds i am 4 weeks into flowering and they look small to mekiss-ass
4 weeks in they will still fatten up some. No additive is going to make a big difference at this point. If the plant is not healthy or has skinny bud DNA you will never get fat buds. A good light 400w HPS or better is a requirement for fat buds. All you need for fat buds is a healthy plant with good DNA and plenty of light.

i use molasses, some say it works and some say it doesnt.i think its ggrrrrreat
I took this advice once and got my worst harvest ever, the sugars fed pathogens that would mess with my ph. Now with no molasses I get fat buds.

What the heck is going on with that stem there? Are you doing some kind of crazy LST on these bending and cracking stems for more room?

The light color on the leaves is likely just the plant using the fan leaves as food factories to provide more to the flowers.. that or whatever is causing your stems to crack and bend sideways..

I'm on day 13 of flower in my current grow and I'm right about what yours look like if not a tad more. I also have a 1000w HPS over mine.

you can fatten up your buds if you do an immediate wate change and use the following:

Carboload(sugar/carbohydrates supplement way better than molases, 5 different types)

Enzyme formula like hygrozyme or phirana or voodoojuice, enzymes like carbs, using this with the above product works well

and lastly and Phosphorous supplement, now this won't fatten your buds, but this will add more crystals A.k.A resin to your buds and nearby leaves. Im not sure if you plan on doing a resin ice filter thingy thing with the excess cuttings during harvest, but you will get nice resin

i would also recommend Rhizotonic to enhance root growth, the more roots the more nutes can be taken up

i wouldn't risk using anything at the grocery store, you can try a gardening supply store, i don't know if you've heard of ACE hardware, but they sell gardening stuff, don't count on homedepot, anyplace like ACE or OSH should have some cool stuff. you won't find rhizo and carboload there, but you may find some product with a high P value (n-p-k)
