fastest way to dry a bud

what is the fastest way to dry a bud and it still be decent smoke, so that you can take a sample and try it within a day or two. i have heard many methods and would like to hear some more opinions, so if you have ever dried weed post how you have done it how long it took and how good it was

1 - Put the oven on the lowest setting, let it heat up and leave the door cracked. Put your bud on some foil and stick it in for a few minutes. Keep an eye on it. In a few minutes it'll be dry enough to smoke. (This is the method I've always used)
2 - Stick bud in a sock or pair of pantyhose. Blow hot air from a hair dryer through the sock until bud is dry.
3 - Place foil over top of lampshade. Put bud in foil and after several hours bud will be dry.
4 - Put bud on foil and place on top of cable/sat. receiver. Several hours to a day later bud will be dry.
5 - Microwave it.

The only method I've used is the first and it works good. Tends to dry the outside more than the inside though and sometimes depending on the density of the bud, it may become moist again as you smoke it. You just have to torch the shit out of it as you puff and it'll eventually burn up. Works good for airy, bottom popcorn buds.

The best method is putting it in a brown envolope and placing it on top of your tv, drys in a few hours to a day!!!

Can you get a hold of dry ice. If so what you do is get a plastic container ie food storer. Pierce the lid several times. If your putting 10g of bud in, put 20g of dry ice. Put dry ice in first, cover with paper towel then put your bud ontop. Close the lid and put in the freezer. In about 6-10hrs your bud will be dry and taste and smoke alot better than any other quick dry method. Heat and light decrease thc

I second that. i have a friend who does this.

microwave/hair dryer/ oven are stupid. in the end you'll wish u just left ur buds alone. youll kill most of the crystal with those 3 methods.

I'm always wary of the term "sample" from my experience of drying out early buds, you might get a buzz but the end result seems to be 100% of the time, shit, and is no indication of what you're growing.. Now if i want samples i cut early but insist on a propper dry.

its pointless to even try and "sample" unless your trichomes are in or atleast close to the range of being mature. no clear trich's. milky. if u cut earlier then that, its pointless.

but i agree, if u sample at a proper time, like when it just starting to mature, snip a small bud and dry proper, itll give u a basic idea of how it will turn out. but its always better at the end of its life.

this method sounds very interesting i have heard of all the other ones except for this but i dont know if i can get dry ice. where would i look to buy it

Depends where u are slayer. In the US I think you can buy in most supermarkets. In the UK your local ice cream shops have it and can be easily talked round to selling you some. Also there is a company called BOC UK that will sell it to you but you need to register with them. Smoke machines use it so prob party shops and the like will be able to get it.

About £20 for 10kg.

Space Heater. Depending on the type you have, if you have a space heater that pushes air with a fan, you can place your bud in front of it and it will air dry your bud in about an hour. It's by far and away the best way I've found to get rid of the bud's moisture. Just put it within 1-4" of the heat source, and wholla...smokeable buds in no time.

Just put it in carboard box lid off,in fairly close range of light in grow room 2days good enough,I've had no complaints out of 15 oz
