Does it get rid of all chlorophyll? No it does not.

Does it allow a chemical breakdown that changes the taste and harshness of the bud? Yes it does.


With all of that said I do want to mention that I applaud any attempts to be innovative with any process. Without trying different shit we would never advance any understandings.

2 you are just smashing and wasting trichomes which is actually what gets you high.

3 impatience generally doesn't bode well for growing weed.

crushing trichomes doesn’t matter since it’s chemical make up doesn’t change.

I have the same problem. The humidity here, Northeast, has been 70 to 85%. I'm going to try the microwave later and I'll post the results.

Im close to harvest as well and the humidity in the northeast has been terrible but microwave method kinda blows imo when it comes to sampling a nug. If you've seen what a microwave does to a hot dog why would you want to put your herb in there and expect anything good to be the result? I wrap it in a paper towel and leave it in a room with ac where it's usually good to try in 3 days +/- a day. It's not an immediate solution but it's quick enough as I'm not doing it bc I'm starving for herb but to get an idea of how the effect is.

For harvesting.

In the summer heat: After chop, I cut off the fans leaves, hang the whole plant, have a humidifier set to 55 degrees and a dehumidifier set to 60 degrees in the ac room kept at 66.

In the winter: just need the dehumidifier, same process.

OK I did the Microwave thing to dry a nug. It's a 1300 watt oven and I cooked at 40% power for 10-15 seconds at a time for 1 min.. It really did dry up pretty well. Enough so that it was smokeable. It proved I have to wait a week and try again. They are not ready. I chalk it up as a +

Listen to me all you noobs. Take a normal A4 size paper, fold it in half and place your weed in between.
And iron it. Works every time. And doesn't even lessen the high.
Try it
