Fast Bud (Auto) Chop Down!!!

Ended up getting a little over 9 ounces wet. Seeing that I will lose about 75% in just water alone hopefully I will net a little over 2 ounces of this pretty bud. There is before and after pics of what it was and what it will be lol!

IMO looks like you harvested to early, the plant looks like it could go another 3 weeks, but a nice harvest nonetheless gratz.

Why do the dates in the pictures not match, the pics of the plant are dated 2006 and the pics of the buds are 2011 something strange lol

Recently harvested a Sweet Seeds Fast Bud...some dank shit! You certainly got a great harvest outta an auto, one of the largest I've seen......Sweet Seeds autos are some well done genetics....check out their Green Poison (photo with 7wk flower) and Speed Devil 2, another auto. All are heavy indica doms....

First off Oldreefer I would like to say thanks for the complement. I have the Speed Devil #2 going right now and the Green Poison died on me for some unknown reason lol! But to answer some questions I recently changed the date on the camera and who really cares I'm not on here taking pictures 3 years apart and saying hell I will post them now lol that is silly! I also didnt harvest early and how the hell can you tell by the pics in the first place. I harvested with 20% amber trichomes because I wanted too they had flowered already for almost 12 weeks and I wanted a more head high. Why are people so quick to judge on here.

12 weeks huh? im growing this strain right now 3 of them about 3 weeks in. do you have any pics of them at 3 weeks so i can compare? one of my fbs started out growing really retarted. i think shes starting to recover and grow normally. well mostly normal. but much smaller than my other 2. did you only grow one plant? damn i was hoping for 8 or 9 week harvest. i dont want to veg my other plants that long might have to go 12/12 early fuck.

This is about 3 weeks here maybe a little longer. Yeah mine grew strange at first too with only 3 leaves at the bottom but they turned out just fine. I only grew one of the Fast Bud but, I did grow a Speed Devil#2. It was a promo thing. I also have a Great White Shark 3 weeks into flower and a Blue Mystic that is 43 inches tall by 48 inches wide with 90 some tops flowering also lol! I also never took my plants off 18/6 the company Sweet Seeds recommends that light schedule. I flowered these under CFL's that is why they took so long to make the triches amber!

that is a nice harvest for cfls. im using a 250 mh with some cfls on the side. im battling low humidity right now. my girl looks much smaller and definitly not showing sex yet. i raised my light from about 8 inches to 12 inches today to try and encourage her to stretch a little. shes bushy as hell but short. i know the low humidity is hurting me too but hopefully its gonna warm up in my area soon and this dry cold air will be gone. spring is coming so thats what im hoping for now. humidifier is not in the budget.

I don't think anyone was judging, asking questions you don't like is not judging lol. That shit just doesn't look like it was done. Those pistols all look alive and vibrant, I know that's no true indicator but I know that that plant looks like it still had time. And when you post pictures with different dates on the internet it makes you look full of shit, that's why people care. People like to know if what they're being presented with is on the level with what's true. However, I don't know you, or what your about so I have nothing else to say. Gratz on the grow.

The smoke was very head high some quoted made them feel nervous/anxious. Some had deep thoughts and would stare off into space and then talk like hell. Was a one hitter for some for sure. High was very instant and some would laugh like hell. Very fruity smell along with fruity aftertones when exhauled. Ok on the subject of harvesting early I may have harvested a week early because of the % of trichome head development. But the first set of pictures of the plant itself was not when we chopped her down. I know the dates were jacked up but its cool didnt think it was a big deal but I understand. The reason we stripped all the leaves off was to see if you actually get a larger harvest with leaves cut a few weeks before harvesting. So really the buds were cut after about 2 weeks after we cut all the leaves off. Now we are growing one and leaving the leafs on and letting it go to full development well about 75% amber trichome development. Looking for a couchlock one hitter. The first was suppose to be a more head high. Sorry for the mis-communication. But there are a slight few on here that I have seen get bashed for dumb things I was just standing up for myself no hard feelings though.

GS, thanks for the smoke report. I'll go ahead and crack one of the Fast Bud seeds and see how it does. Trying out the cage match, round two. It will be my first auto grow, using hempy with osmocote and epsom salt. I hope I don't destroy the plant.

I fed her some nutrients I found with Micro's in it. But the weird thing is its orchird growing and blooming compound. It was a little cheap on the pocket cause those ferts at the hydro store was a lot at the time lol!


Girdweed your welcome and the Fast Bud is a hardy type strain from what I could see while growing adapts very well to enviroment. Another thing from what I have been reading is it grows the fastest of most Auto's. My other Auto I have going is the Speed Devil #2 (It smells like shit well moldy bread lol!) But it is still not finished and I started both at the same time. Thanks Omer I was very well satisfied also and I had a lot of people say it was some straight fire well thats their terms lol! It is only like 16% THC but it is some real head banger. +rep to all thx!

Thanks Green Shark, I got a few extra free beans from my last order, Green Poison, Fast Bud Auto, and Speed Devil #2 Auto. The Green Poison and Fast bud are in mineral water now, along with Barney's LSD and White Russian Auto from G13. This is the first try for auto's. I'm thinking about leaving the in the veg area under Flouro's and CFL's. If I can match your production with CFL's then I'll call it good.

IT sounds like the moldy bread is going out under the midnight sun. It's odd that a name like Speed Devil isn't ready a bit quicker. Please post when you chop it.

Hey man I got some Fast Buds in there 3rd week of veg now. They are looking very nice. I have them beside my White Russians and man they are doubloe the size. Thank you for the Review on it as well. Good info.

I did the same Leaf experement on 2 of my Short term amnesias. I left the one go all natural. And the other I trimmed the under growth and let the leaves at the bottom get trimmed and the results were clear. The one I let all natural grew alot bigger and fuller. I also did some other tests on LST with these auto and man was that a good idea. The average I got from the 1 of those amnesia's that I did NOT do the LST to was about 20-30 grams. The one I have in LST is gonna be in the 50's !!!! This thing is huge man. Lots of pics in my albums as well.

What did you end up with Dry weight and all. And do you have any further knowledge to help for my Fast buds?

Well to answer a couple questions the fast bud was done about 2 weeks ago now I would say something like that and the Speed Devil #2 is going to take another week and a half min. But it is stronger THC wise than the Fast Bud. I would let any plant go natural now seeing how the Speed Devil #2 is doing now lol! I think what makes us true growers and masters of our skills is experiments until we get our technique on point. I did get 2 ounces dry with the Fast Bud weighed in a little over 9 ounces wet. Wish it kept that weight lol! But all that is gone now. One other thing about the Fast Bud is when you first smoke the bud it is super head rush/buzz then it drops fairly quick within a hour of consumption. I was told you still feel high but it isnt like you first did on the initial smoke, but that makes them come back for more lol! Got a Blue Mystic going now with 96 or more tops in my sig lol! She's a monster I got them all on a promo probably the same ones where you got yours. Ok, about the CFL's I would use a lot of the red spectrum bulbs along with the blue spectrum for even growing. I did also keep them on 18/6 seen better grow with them like that well energy to growth ratio that is. Don't be fooled by the pictures alone lol I had both the Auto's under a HPS 600 watt bulb for almost 6 weeks. But because of limited space and 2 large bushes they had to be moved out of that growing area. I used Miracle Grow Organic potting mix and worked fine just checked the Ph every time I watered. I also flushed the 4 gallon pot the Fast Bud was in with 15 gallons of fresh water the last week of flowering to get all the salts and impurities out of the product itself. Well once I saw one or two amber trichomes heads thats when I started flushing. Then just gave straight water until harvest time. I have been told it is some of the smoothest, tastiest smoke they have tried. They also coughed like hell then after the cough said they were on clouds lol! I know but I just about can't touch it when I am observing it. Smells to me like baby shit. My partner F-ing loves it lol! So its going to be really good or really bad dont think there is a middle there. I also got all 3 of those seeds mentioned above (Green Poison, Fast Bud, and SD#2) My Green Poison didnt make it though didnt even sprout. But I do have Blue Mystic and Great White Shark going now in my sig they are monsters. I have a order on the way with White Widow, LSD, Grapefruit Krush, Emerald Jack Herer, AMS, Super Lemon Haze, Lemon Skunk, Hawaiian Haze, Cheese, Church, White Rhino, Arjan's Strawberry Haze, and some more Auto's cant remember the rest lol! But I have a lot more to grow and review lol! I cannot wait if you can will you let me know about the White Russian when it starts if you dont remember. That and LSD are suppose to be the bomb shit stay in touch with those two. Lata!
