So I’m in the 6th/7th week of flower yesterday it got way too hot so I went into the garden to turn off one of my lights and by accident hit the fan ... exposing part of the on light.... before i could catch it my girls were exposed for about 11 hours while the plants were sleeping ... i’m growing blue dream and the great majority of the plants need another two weeks should I expect Nanas/hermees....should I pull early anyway so far I don’t see anything but It just happened yesterday... fuckkkkkk!!! It was going soo damn good .( the fan stands 4 ft and light is on top)

Ok thanks bro... first time going inside doing Hydro .. walking on pins and needles at the end.
I thought I destroyed something beautiful by not being attentive from this point on I’m buying fans without lights

Silver foil and tape blocks light pretty well.
Anyhow I wouldn't worry. If it was through the whole grow then I would expect bananas on some strains.
A lot of folks say light leaks ect don't bother plants as much as people say and I agree but theres a difference between a bit of moonlight and a continued exposure to a red LED as I found out the hard way when I exchanged a power extension for a new one and forgot to tape it up some years ago. Never had a problem until then and at the time I was running 3 crops staggered in the same flower tent. Ruined the last two batches which hurt like hell... :bigjoint: Kinda serves me right for been automated at the time.

Hey thanks I almost made the same mistake with my extension cord did the exact same thing had to switch them out and an hour before the lights went off I caught it... still losing two crops over a red light would be almost enough to send me into a depression .. but I guess it’s all part of the learning process.. I’m going to make sure never to buy fans with lights
I’m hoping you guys are right... but my girls have been super troopers and have thrived even when I’ve screwed up temperature and pH and nutrients .. lol. I’ll check this one up on the learning curve hopefully will make it through without getting balls or nanas...
Switching from Hydro to Coco and I’m getting rid of all appliances in my tent that have lights except for my air conditioner and one super duper fan.. lol
Again thanks for the info and for peace of mind I appreciate it
