1)

2) Outdoors South East U.S
3) Light watering every two/three days if theres no rain
4) Fox Farms Ocean Forest 70% Perlite 30%
5) Flowering @approx week 3/4

Pics are from after a light rain..As normal some leaves are yellowing... I am noticing a "whitening" on the leaves near the veins and wilting. a few fan leaves have withered and died already. Just wondering is this okay and if not how can I remedy it. i appreciate any help RIU, thanx in advance

the insect you have is a LEAF MINER. the adult flie lays larve on your leafs. the small magget like worms are eating you leafs. this problem is more common for outside growers. the maggots are hard to kill with sprays as they are protected in the tunnel they make in the leaf. remove all infested leafs neem oil can help futuer attacks. pyrythrin based insecticides can sometimes help, also deltamethrin. you can also smash them. make sure you take the leafs you can far away from the plant. this is usally not fatalk to the plant. it will slow grow and may prolong flowering. good luck and if you have anymore questions or problems with insects let me know i`m in the pest control business

Thanks for the help, I have ALOT of infected fan leaves in your opinion would the loss of these leaves be worth it in your opinion? Going to give the neem oil a def try.

Are spraying the plants with something? Looks like there is something on the leaves, it is white looking. You can burn plants with the wrong stuff or to much of a good thing.

sorry to get back to you so late, there are alot of sprays labeled for plants. it dosent look like your in flowering yet if you do use any spray make sure to spray with water when the outbreak has seased. if you are getting close to flowering you can still treat with a pyrethrin.VERY IMPORTANT spray pyrethrin on a paper towel and wipe leave just as you would with neem oil. do not apply to flowers. a lot of peolple are afraid of poison but a lot of pyrethrins are derived from an african crasamthamin. it a safer poison. but feel free to try the organic sprays also. just keep vigilent and remove leafs as nessacery. if you can you can smash them as they are travelig through the leaf this can help avoid removing leafs if you can kill them. i have never had this problem and i dont hear much about. but hey if it ever happens again you will be a pro

Im actually around week three of flowering most of the damage is new growth. Im not around them everyday. So I told my care taker to dispose of any leaves that are looking to be browning or severely harmed. Wont be able to treat them till the weekend though :-/ Going to put up fly traps since I noticed the adults have pupated already (figured they were gnats, sprayed the plant and sorrounding area sunday). Will teat with the pesticide/or neem and go over each plant hopefully I can kill all that I see. really appreciate the help.

i havent been able to check on them as of yet, this weekend I will see if the sprays have worked, Lay fly traps and give the neem a try. Ill add a touch of Bio Neem to the water. My caretaker has removed the leaves which have wilted and died

The miners did some serious work despite the neem oil spray, also used 2ml in their water. Had to remove a lot of fan leaves bc of dying/decay. Don't think it will harm the plants much since none were too close to the budsites. tried to post pics from my BB storm but their encryted :-/

Thanks for the help RIU, looking forward to a late sept earl october harvest.
