Would the seeds from an F2 open pollination be more desirable from the best female in the batch? Would you expect to see more of the desired traits in the seeds from the plant expressing those traits? Or would the DNA diversity allow for fire phenos to be found in all of the f2 population?
knowing breeding should be done with goals I guess it would make sense to only try to dial in traits… but is there gonna be some good wildcards in the other plants too?
